I think we could convince Rogers. I think he's slimey enough to be paid to leave.
I do agree that Daniel Greedy and ENIC have become very known now and getting a top level coach to come is going to be hard. But I don't put Rogers at the top. He's much better than Nono though.
We're not gonna get Conte or Zidane or the likes of Touchel, Naiggelsman or Flick when they were available, because they had top jobs lined up. But Spurs are a bigger club that Leicester and Brighton.
Funny thing was, at the start of this mess, I wasn't fussed about Rogers or Potter, but given what we ended up with, I'd fucking get on my knees and beg one of those 2 to come.
Agree. Neither would get us anywhere near to matching Poch, but then neither would Klopp or Pep based on the fact Levy the leach is still in charge.

However, both will play good football and improve the current abortion under nono

I'm actually really irritated that Man United are such a shambles. 2 reasons - firstly is that ALL the world media have their eyes on them and OGS needing the sack. Apart from that 2 faced slimmey cunt Neville refusing to say what he thinks about his mate. Second is that they'll be forced to sack OGS and they will go after a top coach. A top coach will have that team in the top 4 easily.

That's his main problem. He has the mentality of a small club manager. At Wolves it doesn't matter if you lose a cup match by resting players, the priority is to survive in the league. He does not belong at a club that wants to win something.

He rested all our good players on Thursday, lost with a pathetic performance, then brought all of them back on Sunday and lost again with another pathetic performance. Whereas West Ham rotate 5 or 6 for their Europa match, won it, played all the big boys against us at the weekend and won. Who used their squad better? The only thing that's better than rest when it comes to keeping players fresh, is winning matches. Winning is better than resting. Nuno doesn't get it.

I actually thought that resting the best eleven and playing the same formation was a decent enough idea. I mean, the B team should have been more than enough to overwhelm the farmers. But evidently not.

Sarri may be out of the Lazio job soon.

Food for thought. I get that he is former Chelsea but a Sarri that is allowed to shape the team as he wants can produce some fantastic football.

The problem is they could have got Conte but Levy and Co are clueless and have no plan. The fact is Levy’s plan has always been to increase revenue and that is how we were going to compete but Chelsea, City and PSG have made that plan redundant because they can outspend everyone because they have owners willing to put billions into the club. Levy and Co appointed Nuno because their is half a hope that someone better may come available (Poch). The fact is we appointed someone completely incapable and if most fans knew we were going to appoint him we would have gone for about 50 managers before him and for me that includes Ryan Mason.

Same Mourinho who lost 6-1 to a team from the same league where Solskjaer was racking up trophies?
oh ffs will you get over him ?!? You sound so sad and traumatized, maybe it would be reasonable to seek some help :D ? So that you would not start shaking and rageing every time someone dares to mention "the one who shall not be mentioned"... whose club sits comfortably in position to progress from the group with 3 point advantage, unlike us :D ?

Levy being an astute businessman and always the winner in every deal is the biggest myth in football. Basically it's all just media bollocks and I reckon Levy actually believes the hype.

Fact of the matter is it's a total myth - probably perpetuated by the man himself.

Being a nob to deal with doesn't make you an "Excellent businessman"

Levy gets rinsed on most deals

Janssen
Soldado
Adeybaor
Ndomble
Los Celso
Lamela
Clarke
Sessegnon

All of those deals have taken him for a ride and he's parted good money for a sea of mediocrity.

Tough negotiator - is he bollocks...... He's just got a rep for being shite to deal and work with and often bites off his nose to spite his face at the expense of having a decent team.
You missed out £30m for Sissoko and whatever it was for Sanchez.

Some of the anti-Jose crew are ridiculous, he lost on a fake pitch to rest players before Napoli, who dropped their first points in 14 games in Serie A yesterday when Roma had the better chances.

He is twice the manager Nuno is and it wouldn't surprise me if he did well at Roma despite being a 'dinosaur/toxic' etc. Sacking him (before a Cup final etc.) to end up with Nuno in was a poor decision whatever way you want to look at it.

They're obsessed, he's gone and is still hadly ever out of their posts.

If I knew how the following months would transpire I would never have wanted Jose out, having said that, if I had known how the following years would transpire I would never have wanted Poch out!

I was vehemently for Poch going, I genuinely fell into the trap of thinking our squad was great and he was underachieving by not winning anything, and I still think we should have silverware to show for that stint tbh... but he was right in that the squad needed refreshing and whilst he was far from perfect, I would much rather see how he would have fared with the investment afforded since his departure than those we moved on to. And he had earned it too.

Having said that, I fail to see how even Daniel Levy could preside over a further appointment that would be any more disastrous than Nono, so I am firmly Nono out.

I'm sure a lot of the anti Jose sentiment was as much do do with him being an Ex Chelsea coach who utterly mugged us off , both on and off the pitch various times as it was his current ability to coach a football team.

If anyone alive thinks we're better today with Nuno, than we were this time last year with Nourinho, they're off their fucking heads. You don't have to be a Mourinho fanboi to realise we're worse off now.

It was right for Poch to go when he did. He’d had enough and the team hadn’t won away from home for over a year.

Appointing Mourinho was the wrong move, then not sacking him when Tuchel became available was idiotic. Then that was compounded by sacking him and not having a replacement ready. Nuno was the wrong man brought in when we completely fucked everything up.

I think the only way back is to bring Poch back. Most of the players have gone. But he’s got to want to come back and we have to be proactive about is should he leave PSG (which isn’t guaranteed) before Man U get him.

Sacking Poch was still the right move at the time. Things were just not working any more. The after effects have obviously not been ideal but I would probably still have sacked him. But I would have gone in a different direction than Jose to replace him.

Never go back, it was stale under Pochettino with a better squad for at least a year.
