I remember watching Klopp's first Liverpool vs. Spurs game, I think he had only been in charge a short while and you could already see them attempting to play his style. I was in the pub with a Liverpool mate and we were better than them at that point in time, but I had a sinking feeling they would overtake us.

Same when Poch started managing you could see what he was trying to do and could see him shaping the team in his image.

With Nuno I see nothing, he was a stop gap appointment and we are playing stop gap football.
 
Al the stays after 10 games point to relegation trouble if he remains in charge. The lucky wi a we had we hardly created any chances. Only gane we won and created some good chances was v villa. Even then we let them back in at 1-1 and they had a good chance after that.9 goals in 10 games must be a record of some sort. I really do t u set stand the mindset of illogical thinking going on in the board room and DOF. It is so obvious this guy needs to go! Someone who was wanted in the first place by levy or the fans. Patricia can go as well such a dick with his loud shouting on the touci e thinking he’d struck gold with Nuno and proved levy wrong. Man is a fraud along with Nuno. I hope we aren’t paying him £8M / yr for this tripe. He wouldn’t have been on that at wolves yet gets sacked essentially and gets a bigger gig with more money. Christ the fuck up of it all! Mind boggling!
 
I'm not too fussed about us losing at the moment because it should just speed up Nuno's departure, which we know is inevitable anyway.

The question now is whether or not we get the next appointment right.

Agree entirely: just clutching for straws. There is definitely an element of having burned out the first flush of the heart of the team (but it’s only really Kane and Dele who are left from that time - maybe Sanchez, maybe Winks) but we’ve changed enough players for them to manage to keep Prem level fitness.

As others have said, the worry is the decline in the players that look okay - Royal, Romero, Gil to some extent - what the hell is happening in training? I’m inclined to start going full ‘there’s something in the water at the training ground’.

Yes, but get the ‘middling’ players fit, they can press and they can attack. Kane doesn’t have a place in a Poch team as he’s too slow now and not aggressive enough. Poch lost the team when he tried to implement a different style as the players aged. I can’t fault Levy for not wanting to sell the golden goose on Kane, but Poch’s teams seem to be about a cohesive whole, rather than building around one player. If the egos can cope, he’ll be successful - if they can’t then you get PSG who should be strolling to CL semis etc, but end up with a load of media noise about Messi being subbed and Neymar not scoring a hatful. Hard job.
