You're right, fair point.
I should have clearly said most managers of a certain level (i.e., not top level) would, especially if not working at the time, similar to how we can't attract players who are at the top level but make do with 'potential'.

Nuno was a nice fella but was always a stopgap given his contract length and the time it took to appoint him, plus his style of football was never going to work here. Also lets not forget he left Wolves to go back to Portugal, not take on the basket case that is THFC - so now he gets to do that with a big wodge of cash. Nice guy, wrong fit and certainly the wrong time. Will no doubt be a success back in Portugal or perhaps Italy.
Happy that we wasted another 6 months? Or happy that we've now got to compensate a manager even the most clueless Spurs fan could have seen was wrong?
