Anyone else a member of an official supprters club in the UK?

I've just joined Vectis Spurs with my son. Although there are a few other Spurs fans around where I live (just outside Southampton), none of them seem to ever attend games. It's a much better experience going to the game with other fans, so I am hoping I'll be able to attend a few more this season.

The travel cost is much cheaper too, less than half the price of the usual train fare as well as the ability to obtain tickets too (even though we are both members).

Had a Lowestoft one for a year or two that I was part of but it was a bit of a pain to organise as people would pull out of matches last minute leaving the organiser short. Still plenty of us around here and going to games regularly though.

Naturally there are none in London due to the proximity of the club. Although I always found that a bit of a shame as not every fan in London has legions of other Spurs fans already in his friendship circle.

Yeah I hoped a few years ago there'd be a south London supporters club. There's a lot of Spurs fans south of the river and I know some pubs in Streatham/Brixton/Croydon areas that get taken over by local Spurs regularly, so I'd thought there might be something just because it's another part of London. Guess it's too close still though really.

We have a fantastic club here in New York. The boys are fucking mental for Tottenham, proper people. The pub owner is Spurs, we throw out any cunt that comes in wearing red and get fucking smashed. Couldn't ask for more. Can't wait for Sunday to be drinking at 8:30 am with the lot of them.

What's the name of the pub ? I'm sure ill be up there one of these weekends in the next few months and have to drop on by for some ruckus

Used to be a snide way for members to queue jump and obtain tickets for big games easily but thankfully that got cut back on.

Never been in a club myself but would definitely consider if I ever found myself living far away.

Really want to check out this NYC pub now :parker:

If you think 8:30 is early you should spent more time in airports.
Where did I say it was early? Was simply stating the time. And I've never flown before so I don't know what you're talking about. Usually my beers are cracked open before I hop on the 6am train I take anyway.

@ PhillyHotspur PhillyHotspur The pub is O'Casey's right in midtown at 22 E. 41st St. You should try and make it for the NLD, always a good time.

Yeah, and they do a mean curry chicken cutlet in the cafe next door...

It's funny that the supporters' clubs are always in other countries and not in British regions.

I was an Oz Spurs member for three years and we used to get together to watch loads of matches. The worst one was the 2002 League Cup final that we watched in Star City, lost, and blew all our money in the casino.

There should definitely be regional groups in the UK. Can / does the club help?
