Match OMT: Bournemouth (H), Sunday 31st December, 14:00

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

There’s a reason they are top of the form table with 4 straight wins and 19 points from their last 21.

This was never going to be an easy game with our patchwork team. Especially as we've had limited rotation over the last month due to the injuries.

The posts before the game are all there to see. Most saying this wouldn't be easy and can't see us winning.

Yet here we are. Performance most probably expected. Yet winning.

We're so bad it's a joke. Another game where we can only sustain 20mins of reasonable football. We can't play this way and ultimately it will cost Ange his job. You either adapt or get the sack.
Steady now, that’s a stupid statement with what we don’t have available and with the squad he inherited. Come back with that comment this time next year and it would have more punch behind it. But it’s a stupid fucking post right now.

I think whether it's a tactical flaw or otherwise what the last 2 games have shown me is there is a real lack of fluid attacking play. I've watched Bournemouth and Brighton give options to the player on the ball, make intelligent little runs, create gaping spaces in our defense and I don't see any of that in our forward play. It's just all a bit too gung ho then when the opposition is in position we have fuck all flair to make something happen.
It's just a lack of technical quality in the team overall.

This improves massively with Madders, Romero and VDV.

The issue really is the forward line. No strong wingers makes Angeball very difficult.

Summer focus needs to be on a top quality forward.

Move on the likes of Richy, Perisic, Gil etc. And get a class winger in to start.

Ultimately we need to come up with a plan for Son. Is he our proper number 9? If so, stop shunting him out on the wing.

If he can't play that role then we need someone else to do it. I don't think Richy is that guy long term.
