He’s had numerous huge game performances against the likes of city and Liverpool (including in the FA cup final..) so I’d call that the highest level. He’s also just consistently stood at in the best league on the planet.

Rice has plenty of top attributes but his passing is way down the list. How many times do you ever seen him thread a through ball?I agree that he would be well worth a punt. It would definitely mean goodbye to Gray or Bergball if it happened.
Anderson's qualities are his physicality and drive. His passing needs to improve, and will.

He’s the focal point of the entire Palace side. Always there as an out ball. Brilliant against a press. Brilliant passer. Very level headed.

I probably rate rice higher than anyone on here but he’s nowhere near as good a passer as Wharton. He’s better at almost everything else but passing ain’t one of those things.
Wharton is the best English passer of a ball after Kane and maybe Trent.
I watch a bit of La Liga and outside the top 4/5 teams it's championship standard at best
If Wharton had Rice’s off the ball attributes and mentality, you would be talking about one of the very best players in the world. He’s still more than young enough to get better in many of his weaker aspects. I think it is time he left for a bigger club, as good as Palace have been for him.
