We'd all take him but it was never very likely he would come to us imo, there are better jobs for him. Not necessarily talking about bigger clubs either. No club that has made their first Final in the 21st century has won it. Valencia, Leverkusen, Monaco, Woolwich, Chelsea (won it on the 2nd time of asking), Tottenham, PSG and now City. Maybe Atletico as well but I think they made the final once in the 80s as well.
