Lots of empty seats at the Etihad... the PL only interested in global rights... I think the PL is slowly in decline in this country. Other than CL spots this season was done and dusted in Feb... just feels like the bubble is bursting.
I dont think the bubble is bursting. I do think ticket prices are too high though.

It was also a week day with relatively little to play for. City are bound to get CL

I don't know about that but Eze is a good player.

I just don't see this difference maker, although as part of something more formidable it might be easier to see if he has an extra level.

The best players (in my opinion) go to any new club and get better and better. Is Eze that type - not sure.
I know what you mean...
He could well be the next Wilf Zaha who got absolutely swallowed up at Man Utd and only really flourished at a certain level...

I could imagine Eze struggling with the demand of pressure you'd get at City, Liverpool or even the Woolwich...

Thing is, Spurs ARE probably about the right level... No real pressure to deliver EVERY week... Just score the occasional Goal of the Month, and keep smiling for the in-house media team and training ground content...
Plus he's great mates with Madders and Sonny!
He'd be PERFECT for us!

Amazing for me is a player that plays with the game with a natural flair. The game is missing natural talent that that play with a degree of freedom. Pep has influenced the game in a negative manner.
We really ARE missing mavericks like Frank Worthington, Stan Bowls, Rodney Marsh or even a Ginola (one for the kids!)

The stakes are SO high now, the price of failure is SO great, that It's all WAY too clinical and data led to be any actual FUN any more!!
