His numbers last year were as good as the previous year when they won the league. This season though he has been very average

Thing is, we all know that when PSG start offering wages, we aren’t even in the debate anymore so I’m a bit switched off. I’m taking some comfort from the fact that we at least identified him before Napoli so even if we fucked it up, some of these current youngsters we are signing might reach similar levels.
I’d love us to sign him but we won’t. Unless it’s like a RKM and he goes for huge wages and for whatever reason it doesn’t work out.

City are massively in credit on player sales over the past few years, more so when you amortize and the youth they've sold. They could spend 100M's and not hit their limits.
The sponsorship deals and how they got into this position is the dodgy stuff but they are nowhere near ffp limits.

Yip. I think getting Mikey as much minutes between now and the end of the season could save us a fortune in the long run. When he’s fit and ready I’d just play him just now. Even at his young age he’s better than what we are seeing from any of our wide players. Play him 3 or 4 games then take him out for a couple then put him back in.
