Wasn't there someone on here that liked Romain Faivre? 15m to OL from Brest not much money at all.

Maybe bus-conductor bus-conductor or Five Five ? I know you guys watch Ligue 1 or reachingforthestars reachingforthestars

Sorry if I tagged you for no reason and I was wrong about you guys rating him.

I've seen bits and pieces of him. He's got some talent for sure, technically very good and has some vision - sees and plays incisive passes, can also move past people. I think he fundamentally plays as 10/ACM for Brest (others who have seen them more can confirm) so I'm not sure he's really a right for us whilst Conte's around - but there's plenty to like about the kid. And at 15m Eur or so, is a third of the price of Kulusevski - and I reckon might have more potential upside - but caveat that by saying I've not seen loads of either player.

The speed other teams seem to show interest in a player and conclude deals is hard to ignore.

Sure it's not always as it seems but I cannot remember one transfer we complete without hitch or undue delay.

Honestly not one.

Newcastle are set to take their spending to £120m today - after agreeing a deal to sign top French teenager Hugo Ekitike. Eddie Howe went back in for the Reims striker over the weekend and a deal has been accepted by the League 1 club.

The 19-year-old will cost £33m plus bonus payments.

I always used to respect Barca but they have absolutely sold their soul in the past 5 years. Aubameyang is such a typical modern Barca signing. They went from Unicef on their shirt to Qatar Airways, went from not really ever spending big and preferring to promote youth splashing cash on aging players. Ever since they bought Suarez I feel like they've been different, then you've got a line of players who are just odd signings year on year. Turan, Paulinho, Coutinho, Dembele, Vidal, Griezmann, Braithwaite, Pjanic, Aguero, Depay, Torres and Aubameyang is the cherry on top.. It honestly seems like they're approaching football like it's FIFA, no real plan. Just big names and big wages to guys who don't deserve it, not a good idea when you're broke.

I agree they're just Madrid in different colour shirts. There was a period when they seemed to have a unique identity, La Masia, Tiki-Taka and a defined Barca style of player. Now they are just like any super-rich financially doped club.

Maybe it's since Cruyff passed, i have to think he would have been against many of the players and changes at the club over the last 5 years.
