.....Soton likely lose JWP & Lavia this summer so will need MFs.

They've sold two academy players this window, one who's never played a senior game of football, the other who's never played in the Championship before, combined fee of up to £34m.

Incredible.

He's having his Gattuso at Rangers adventure.

The difference being of course that Gattuso actually wanted to go to Rangers after being convinced by Walter Smith. Tonali is outright being shown the door by AC Milan.

Rough going.

Wonder how many seconds it took his wife to think "What the fuck am I doing?" after stepping off the plane. Fair cultural difference between Milan and South Shields.

That whole area of the pitch needed a big revamp. Fabinho has declined, Thiago broken, Keita shit, Henderson declining.

Makes sense that 3-4 players are needed. That's a proper rebuild job - not something we'd ever do, but exactly what was required for their midfield.
Keita doesn't play for Liverpool anymore.

(Liverpool are great at transfers kieta and chamberlain left for nothing after being shot 85m)

I do think others fans will have lost track of Liverpool. Klopp is still for me the best manager pound for pound in the league (in terms of getting the most out of what he has).

As you say Liverpools midfield was declining, like us end of Pochettino era, it was done. Getting Lavia along with Mcallister and szoboszlai and their midfield is basically fixed. Beyond that they could be a 1-2 more players short of another title challenge or at least 90+ points season.
