No-one is saying he will be an absolute success, it’s the more the way they are showing ambition and quietly and quickly closing deals for weak areas
He said he'd take him over Kulusevski. Would he not be considered success if he was?

Were you one of those Spurs fans who wet the bed because Villa signed Coutinho that time too?
Yeah I would say so.He said he'd take him over Kulusevski. Would he not be considered success if he was?
Poch wants Olise too.
Poch wants Olise too.
I hadn't realised Olise had been in both the chav & shitty Academies from a young age, before ending up at Reading. (I don't count his brief spell at Woolwich when he was 7 years old.)
According to the Mail, the chavs will pay more than Olise's release clause (£39m when clause is £35m) to negotiate a more favourable payment schedule.

How do you turn something like that down? It's only for 2 years as well. It isn't like elite clubs are looking at him anyway.
Hopefully it pays off for him. It would be a shame if he gets the sack next season.
The only thing I can think of is that it may be to intentionally inflate the manager market so that in the future managers will go there instead.More importantly ... why are Saudi clubs offering that kind of money for Marco Silva?
I mean it's not a draw. Come and play under a mid-table Prem manager. He's not won anything, he's not a household name.
I guess another PL manager joining their ranks gives a slice more legitimacy to the league but 40 million worth?

I don't think they'll be offering every mid table level manager 40 million but they'll be willing to pay them more than clubs in Europe will.
