fck me, at first I read this and thought 'oh, good it's probably not an issue with his minutes'
Then I realized how awful this is, an aspiring footballer's life taken away at age 18 before it even begun. Just needless loss of life by evil greedy people. Then I realized how awful I was and am for thinking of our personal bias to Spurs intrasquad dynamics in all of this, when people get kidnapped, murdered, die every day etc. For fucks sake. Truly awful news. The world is shite.

Might be alone in this but watching it back, I think he has to take a lot of the blame for their goal. He had a clear pass to Simons (with the caveat that Simons is playing like a child) when he he was in space, but chose to carry it closer, allowing them to close down before playing the pass which initiated the chaos.
Spence, Simons & VdV are at fault as well for how they reacted but imo it was Sarr that created that situation.
Bergvall, I think he'll be a player but he does similar in terms of carrying the ball, if you pass it the ball it will get there quicker ffs instead carrying it up to your teammate.

I struggle with sarr. Hes one of these players who is better when not playing. Seems to ghost a lot of the games and doesn’t have a defined role. He’s not really a defensive mid, nor does he get forward enough to provide attacking viability.

Nice, hardworking kid who can have the odd champagne moment. But he's got nowhere near the footy IQ required to constantly perform at the top level.
Needs a proper DLP alongside him to excel as an 8. It’s obvious.

He was so poor today, incredibly tentative and timid on the ball. Looks really low on confidence, he just ist driving the team forward at all. He’s actually making it much harder for us the way he keeps passing backwards and dawdling.
You probably would be if you got dropped while playing well.
He should grow a set of balls and step up because he’s been back in the team and producing fuck all. If you get dropped you don’t have that as an excuse when you get back in.
I don’t see what he brings to a team. Can only carry the ball sideways. Passing is very risk averse. Cant take it on the turn from the cbs, footwork is awkward and is a bit headless off the ball, always seems to be chasing but never getting there. He does the odd good thing but I’m struggling to see it. What is it I’m not seeing? The abuse that Bentancur gets and the praise that Sarr gets is bizarre
I’d say it’s because he’s the youngest of the group of him, Bent and Palhinha. This group all offer the exact same type of play, albeit in different flavors.
Was much better when he paired with another mobile player in midfield.
Our balance isn't right at all. Im sorry but Bentancur....nah seen enough and today got a chance to see it in the flesh. The balance sucks
