I hope he can handle pressure because he ain't getting time from the fans. If we get off to a poor start it will be carnage. Part of me hopes for this (only a small part, I can never bring myself to want us to lose when I'm watching a game) because it might smoke Levy and Lewis the fuck out of the club.
Only problem is, if we're struggling to appoint a manager now, what's it going to be like in December time.

Pulis or Colin Wanker on standby?

We aren’t paying the highest season ticket prices in the U.K. for a fucking project manager! Levy has played all his cards now, he could have had conte but he wasn’t prepared to back him ! To dare is to fucking dear!

"We are absolutely clear that central to our ambitions is a successful football team - it is what we all crave.
... everyone's focus is on a return to regular Champions League participation and competing for honours. I have said it many times and I will say it again - everything we do is in the long-term interests of the club. I have always been, and will continue to be, ambitious for our club and its fans.
We shall focus on the recruitment of a new head coach. We are acutely aware of the need to select someone whose values reflect those of our great club and return to playing football with the style for which we are known - free-flowing, attacking and entertaining - while continuing to embrace our desire to see young players flourish from our academy alongside experienced talent."

We'll see, Daniel. Let's hope you're right.

stinks of "hold this job until Poch gets sacked by PSG" to me

but by then we might be a complete and utter shambles by then rather than just a shambles and he may not want to come back

Going to the lane with our fancy stadium is like paying for a meal at the Ritz and being served cold chips and fish fingers by a head chef who thinks he is somehow a great cook while being charge hundreds for the privilege.

only reason he gets away with it is because we are a captive audience, can’t change restaurant, we are stuck for ever more with this one.
