Supporters Petition to stop the erosion of senior concession tickets.

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Rather than a pointless petition, the trust should employ other tactics such as taking him hostage, kidnapping Vicario or pelting the little cunt with pounds coins at the Everton game

If these are too extreme, perhaps a full scale riot and set the new hotel on fire
I was thinking we blockade all the food stalls so no one can get served but seems we are way past that stage now! :ange-hands-head:

How about us pensioners gluing our hands to the sides of all the security gates, to stop people getting into the ground? "Hold on mate, I'm using Evo-Stick and it needs 15 minutes to cure, before I can attach my hand to the gate."

Before anyone decides to arrest me - THIS IS A JOKE.

Any serious protest organiser would of course use such a disclaimer........

5 years clink for you. 👉

Personally think we need to develop better concession pricing for 16-25 - they’re the ones burdened by student debt, no hope of buying a home etc. we need them for the future of the club.

It may go against popular opinion but I am-a pensioner. I get a free bus pass from the state which I can see is to encourage public transport as against car travel as one gets older and less capable. I get cheaper haircuts at the Barbers but with less hair that is justified as it is quicker to cut a pensioner’s hair than a younger person.
I do not get any other concessions like cheap beer at the pub, cheap meals at the restaurant or cheap airline tickets when going on holiday. Nor should I as these organisations are in business to make money. I really cannot see a football club should offer cheaper seats to pensioners if they can fill the seats anyway which clearly Tottenham can. It is a different matter for children who need to be encouraged and whose parents may not be able to pay full price anyway. The number of posts on this thread is relatively low suggesting it has little support but maybe posters do not want the disagrees which undoubtedly will be coming. There is enough criticism of the club on here but this is not a subject I support.

This

They can only attend if parents take them tbh

I used to love days out on the piss following Spurs with mates in early 20’s. That’s been exterminated by greedy capitalist criminals like Levy and Lewis and ginger beard Glazer

This isn't a good look for the Club (especially with Levy paying himself a huge salary and bonus every year) but won't receive across-the-board support; pensioners seem to be Public Enemy No 1 at the moment, easy target. Just thought I'd get that off my chest.
Anyway, I've been eligible for a Senior ticket for three years, but didn't take it up as I wouldn't be able to sit in my seat. That's my choice, as is what I spend my leisure money on.
Here's an idea - why not make all seats affordable (except the premium ones)?

I’d support means testing. Have worked hard for a job with relatively decent pay but would be very up for not having a cheaper season ticket if it meant those who can’t afford one can get one - esp with a focus on over 75s / under 25s.

I'm very conflicted on this one

On the one hand I want our seniors to be looked after and respected

On the other hand , I'm desperate for Darling Danny to receive a bumper bonus this year and I'm worried that bringing back the concessions may scupper that

Whip round in the fanbase maybe ?

I think I can help you here. I've DM'd you my bank details mate. Just set up a standing order. Thanks in advance.

Pensioners are an soft target. Apparently they have had everything easy and should be punished because their houses went up in value.
In many counties the elderly are respected but in the UK they are regarded as the enemy. What a country we live in.

The concession thing won't affect me personally as I only intend on doing a handful of games a season going forward in order to see some old faces.

It’s a fair point; and you should be completely entitled to waive the concession ( should this petition be successful) .

It would be a “ win win “ as I see it .
