Whether he's miles off the pace chasing shadows or busting up danger everywhere he always gives you his all. Far more of the latter today, he was in De Bruyne's underpants for a lot of that game.

From the pool of players available, I'd pick him over Winks every day and twice on a Sunday. He certainly isn't the best CM we've ever had but he puts in a shift and is far more reliable than Harry Winks, especially in a game like yesterday.
This is true. Said it last season my simple dream is the day he is playing for a place against Skipp. Skipp will win. Yesterday he worked like a beast. From the pool of players available, I'd pick him over Winks every day and twice in a Sunday.
I'd pick him over Winks if he was injured too.
He's far from technically gifted but he's not a coward. His head doesn't go down because he made a poor pass or the team is behind. This is true. Said it last season my simple dream is the day he is playing for a place against Skipp. Skipp will win. Yesterday he worked like a beast.
I think Skipp probably gives us more pace and he seems to use the ball quicker once he’s won It, but the flip side is that he’s probably more likely to overcome and leave us exposed. I do think I’m time, if not this season, we’ll be looking at a Skipp -Bentancur axis. He's far from technically gifted but he's not a coward. His head doesn't go down because he made a poor pass or the team is behind.
I'm not sure if Skipp actually adds much more tbh. He's younger and HG, so there's that. I don't want them both playing at the same time as neither are going to turn defence into attack very often.
Skipp offers more in athleticism covering ground and is a better footballer. Bare in mind u are comparing a player in his first full season with an established proHe's far from technically gifted but he's not a coward. His head doesn't go down because he made a poor pass or the team is behind.

Wouldn't go that far but his head does drop and he has an annoying habit of blaming those around him. He is not a physical coward but he can lack bravery on the ball and oft chooses the easy option
I want to ask you guys/gals a question (don't think it warrants a thread). As we are here bemoaning the quality of our squad and are about to head to the lions den for a dose of ritual slaughter....have we ever been this far off City since they won the lottery?
You hear a lot of buy this player! 'but he's doing it in a pub league.' Well is that not a sound description of the EPL. Outside Chavs Liverpool and City everyone else us included are proper rubbish. I wonder if we exclude the three best sides could we name an eleven from any of the other seventeen clubs that could go to the Etihad and not be humiliated? I've tried and its a struggle. This is my best effort and they'd still lose. Potter to coach them obvs. Oh and Romero and Son are there purely on huge bias.

Skipp? I was talking about the comparison between PEH and Skipp….
