lmfao @ the clowns in this thread disagreeing with people suggesting PEH had a good game today, which he did. Seems their irrational hatred for him still can't be quelled even when he helps us beat the best team in England. Sad fuckers :contelol:

Thought PEH was immense. He brings so much heart and intangibles to the team that can’t really be quantified. Some people don’t like the fact that he points and orders people around. I think it’s a necessity for a team like ours that lacks leadership.

Watch his run for Kane's first goal, gets in front of Laporte and gives him something to think about. Kane doesn't get that same space to finish without Højbjerg's run. Not to take anything away from Harry's own lovely run and finish!

This is true. Said it last season my simple dream is the day he is playing for a place against Skipp. Skipp will win. Yesterday he worked like a beast.
He's far from technically gifted but he's not a coward. His head doesn't go down because he made a poor pass or the team is behind.

I'm not sure if Skipp actually adds much more tbh. He's younger and HG, so there's that. I don't want them both playing at the same time as neither are going to turn defence into attack very often.

I think Skipp probably gives us more pace and he seems to use the ball quicker once he’s won It, but the flip side is that he’s probably more likely to overcome and leave us exposed. I do think I’m time, if not this season, we’ll be looking at a Skipp -Bentancur axis.

Skipp offers more in athleticism covering ground and is a better footballer. Bare in mind u are comparing a player in his first full season with an established pro

This is one of the worst takes I’ve ever read on here

I want to ask you guys/gals a question (don't think it warrants a thread). As we are here bemoaning the quality of our squad and are about to head to the lions den for a dose of ritual slaughter....have we ever been this far off City since they won the lottery?

You hear a lot of buy this player! 'but he's doing it in a pub league.' Well is that not a sound description of the EPL. Outside Chavs Liverpool and City everyone else us included are proper rubbish. I wonder if we exclude the three best sides could we name an eleven from any of the other seventeen clubs that could go to the Etihad and not be humiliated? I've tried and its a struggle. This is my best effort and they'd still lose. Potter to coach them obvs. Oh and Romero and Son are there purely on huge bias.

Ramsdale Woolwich
Lamptey Brighton
Romero Spurs
Gabriel Woolwich
Evans Leicester
Philips Leeds
Bissouma Brighton
Rice West ham
Sarr
Son
Raphina

Lloris
Emerson / Romero / Dier / Davies / Sessengon
Kulusevski / Bentancur / Hojbjerg / Son
Kane

Manager: A/Conte

(Missing Reg & Skipp...... Not even full strength.....)
