Ex-Spurs Player Pierre-Emile Højbjerg

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Slagging PeH off before he's even had the chance to play for us is the height of cuntiness tbh. Fuck off and support another club if you're too much of a waste of life to even give the poor fucker a chance.

I'll smack fuck out of anyone who disagrees with this post.
Come on then, if you think you're hard enough!!!!!

I'm only joking, just couldn't resist............................. I'll remove the disagree as I actually agree with you.

CL and PL winning DM not good enough for Spurs as YouTube shows him passing backwards and sideways sometimes

It's legitimately crazy that Henderson was the freaking Footballer of the Year.

I also think it was wrong, TAA, Mane, and probably Salah as well were more deserving, but Henderson was a rock for Liverpool this season and he's been a contributor to a lot of England's success as well.

He's not a more talented player than PEH. And PEH seems to be of that sort of leadership character as well. It shows what that sort of player can be, though Henderson was also right in the center of a lot of ordinary, disappointing Liverpool teams as well.

Sounds like he excelled playing similar to the more expansive role he had with Southampton, which is good in the sense that he is a rich man's Sissoko in that role, but does leave me wondering if we're still missing a proper 6.

My working theory had been that Mourinho sees PEH as having the skills to translate there and plans to convert him. Not on today's evidence I guess.

Against top teams, he will play alongside Winks. Positionally, Winks will be the more defensive player. So, in reality, Hojbjerg is replacing Sissoko.

Now, for the majority of the games, I think we´ll see a Hojbjerg-Lo Celso pivot - in this case, of course, Hojbjerg will be the more defensive midfielder. Ahead of them, four attacking players.

I think we're both too open at the back and not getting the best out of Lo Celso if we do that.

Lo Celso wants to attack and create chances, and he has goals in him if we let him.

Winks Hojbjerg
Dele Lo Celso Son
Kane

Is a better structure that seems to put more guys in a position to succeed than

Lo Celso Hojbjerg
Lucas Dele Son
Kane

Let there be a glut of wide attackers, that's a good thing.

I find it worrying that he wasn’t played as the deepest midfielder today. Does not bode well for the Lo Celso- Hojberg-Ndombele dream.

Is Jose scared of him receiving the ball off the centre backs?

Edit: on the plus side though I thought he was one of our best players, just a bit miffed he wasn’t playing as a DM.
