Ex-Spurs Player Pierre-Emile Højbjerg

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Could it really be any worse than what bissouma has been in recent games?.Surely ange must be considering dropping biss after the international break, guy’s fallen off a cliff form wise.
For me yes, Hojbjerg let’s players run off him all the time. Far more than Bisoumma, he’s got no athleticism He’s got stiff hips and can’t play on the turn. Coming on when the games done is completely different(he actually gave the ball away and played a hospital ball in the time he was on yesterday)he played well against Villa

People are looking for a scapegoat but Bisoumma wasn’t worse than anyone else. It’s always the case that the players who aren’t playing are the answer until they play and then they’re not

Completely different coming on when the games done. When he’s started we’ve tended to struggle and that’ll happen again

Agree hojberg is limited in certain areas technically not a great player, where as bissouma is.Im not scapegoating biss its just all the things he was doing at the start of the season have evaporated under him, hojberg seemed to have his best games alongside Bentancur. Its an area we really need to upgrade on this summer.

Always good in games like this.

The problem comes when we play a team who look to actually press us.

And we're about to play a fair few times who like to press.

We had a couple of examples of that in the last few minutes, and with Forest players tired. He was massive for us today, but Angeball demands things that make him a liability.

Not his fault, unlike Bissouma's appalling defensive display.

Played well today, he was trying to move the ball forward the moment he came on and made us less vulnerable on the break.

Although, when he was getting pressed he started to misplace his passes.
