Do you know, I had no idea that the selection of players was only valid when approved by you.
I have been labouring under the impression that players had to be
A. Good enough to get in the first team
B. Play well in training and impress the manager and coaches
C. Take the opportunity when selected and play so well that they would get picked again - by the clubs first team manager

But it turns out that they just have to be considered fit to play by Sammy, and if they fail to do A to C, then they have been "thrown in the bin" by a clearly useless manager.

That Levy guy has his head up his own arse, doesn't he?

Maybe you think that the likes of Moura are shit back up then?

Or hasn’t he shown more than Eriksen and Dele recently in your eyes?
Another flat earther who thinks everyone in the squad has been treated equally.

How is this possible when we have spent record amounts this past summer?

we made a great deal as well.
Also - Lo Celso is on load with an option to buy which is contingent on chaps league qualification. If we don’t qualify he doesn’t join permanently.
so with that in mind, assumin we won’t be in the top 4 this season, our net spend will probs be in the region of 45M.
bottom of the table spending again - less than team like Bournemouth, Aston Villa and Everton. Even Newcastle!
to make matters even worse, that spend reflects our outlay over 2 years. We could also go down the route of other players sold, like dembele and the net spend drops even further. We are a joke. Sorry, we are run by jokers. #levyout

So basically what you’re saying is that if Poch fails to get CL and Lo Celso leaves, then he wasn’t backed.

But if we weighed out the full 55M straight away and Poch failed to get CL then he still wasn’t backed.

We are not obligated to sign Lo Celso if we dont make EUROPE so that's top 6/7. Also we still have the option to sign him at the numbers agreed so it's really up to us whatever happens.

It's an Obligation to buy not an option, and its any form of European competition, so we could finish top 6 (potentially top 7) and still have to shell out the money to buy him.

She is letting off Poch a bit too easily for his tactical failings but on the whole it's a decent article. A radical overhaul of the squad was definitely needed and we should have signed more players to go straight into the team, however I'm not confident that Poch would have identified the right players needed I also don't think Levy would have adequately backed him with the finances

We should have signed a right back, centre back, defensive midfielder and another attacking midfielder in addition to Ndombele, Lo Celso, Sessegnon and Clarke.

Imo the share of the blame for our current troubles is 50/50 between Poch and Levy.

Better than being so stupid that I think I'm right about everything
Or a complete dickhead who puts down words never spoken by other posters and then derides them for it.
You're a troubled individual with a mentality that defies description.
You need help

Another post with nothing about spurs from you.
How odd!
why the fuck would I want to talk to you about football, what would I possibly gain from a conversation with someone who (in their tortured mind) is always right?

You don't talk to anyone about football, you go to war, trying to batter people to death with your turgid and boring opinions and agendas.

I'll save my football conversations with rational and open minded people who can accept contrary views and accept the possibility that their own opinions might actually not be right.

like normal people do

I have been softening on my Poch out stance as this international break has progressed. I don’t think we have given him a well balanced squad this year. We needed far more reinforcements this summer given that Trippier left and Eriksen/Jan/Toby/Aurier/Rose were all actively seeking moves away. We needed to be able to start filtering through new players, squad hasn’t been refreshed in a long time. We desperately needed a RB, DM, and another CB in all honesty. I don’t really know what sacking Poch would accomplish since we are still going to have these same problems until at least January.

I don’t think it’s all Poch’s fault we are in this current mess, he is a part of it but so is Levy as well.
