I don't mind Rangnick, the experience and pedigree are there. Whether he can work with Levy and that dunce Hitchen i would be wary of. Still RR is better than some of the options being floated.
 
Sorry but you’d be fairly stupid not to look at Rangnick as a director of football role at least with his track record of signings and sales.

Wood is one of the best out and out strikers in the prem, he is top draw. If Kane left I would buy Wood as a guy who can hold up and is a deadly finisher and get maybe Daka as our striker to develop.

He's good for his level but shouldn't be playing for a top 6 team. He wouldn't fit in with us esp when we're playing tiki-take Potter-ball. Ironically he might have been a signing that would have suited Jose.

Can't help but think that sounds like you were hoping to get taken to a Three-Star Michelin restaurant for your birthday only to find out your missus has booked a table for two at the local Berni Steakhouse but has promised you a saveloy supper from the chippy later in the week
