I have reed the last few pages.... Many people mention Scott Parker.... I was in doubt if was serius or a joke...

I can´t believe that a guy like Levy can give this massive job to a relegated manager.

Allegri is being badly underrated getting thrown in that bin. He is a wildly successful top coach that a superclub led by an idiot got bored with.

You'd be happy to calmly see out a 1-0 too if you had Barzagli, Bonucci, Chiellini and Buffon back there.
People are underrating a lot of the names that we are being linked with for various reasons.

They may not necessarily fit the "club profile" or people's personal tastes. But Allegri, Rangnick, Benitez, Potter and many other names in here that are being shot down are good managers.

Yea I’m a bit confused as to what people would consider a manager worthy of Spurs.
The forum was divided when it came to Nagelsmann, who was probably the most high profile manager of the lot.

Does Lopetegui speak English? If so, I am surprised that we are not hearing his name as a candidate for Spurs. Sevilla is in the title race in LaLiga. His team plays beautiful attacking football.

What about Oliver Glasner?
He's done wonders at Wolfsburg with a young squad and a minimal budget. They're up to 3rd in the Bundesliga and we all know you're not winning that League if you're not Bayern

Sean Dyche. Severely underrated. Works with English youngsters through their youth system. People need to realise that the only managers that will ever have success at spurs are the ones that can manage with limited funds.

too much emphasis is placed on big name managers that have won things with huge clubs. Yeah because they get a shit ton of money.

the real managers are the ones that can be flexible with funds and players.

how Dyche has managed to take a club like Burnley into the top flight of English football and survive is beyond me. Doesn’t chop and change clubs either

I think he’d be solid at spurs and a likeable guy

You're actually asking for a guy whose nickname is "The Ginger Mourinho".

the man has managed to consistently keep championship level players in the premier league. You’re only as big as your transfer budget at the end of the day. Do you expect him to be playing Barcelona football?

people act like these mid/bottom table managers don’t understand coaching or tactics. Like they’ve never heard of fancy systems or been on a training pitch. Ridiculous. If anything they are more tactical then the big armchair managers who could field any system they like and still win simply because they can buy the best players in the world.

managers like Dyche operate tactics that win them enough points to stay in the premier league with zero budget and championship players.

he knows what he’s doing

Those guys are not really in the same league as Allegri, CV-wise.

Rangnick is an innovator and a giant of the modern game, but not exactly a relentlessly successful manager.

Benitez is kind of a non-cunty Mourinho in terms of when he was at the cutting edge tactically

Potter's whole top level career is two relegation scraps.

Meanwhile, active managers that have won titles with multiple clubs in Europe's top 5 leagues, in order of when they won their most recent:

2020-21 - Pep Guardiola, Antonio Conte
2019-20 - Jurgen Klopp
2018-19 - Max Allegri
2017-18 - None
2016-17 - Carlo Ancelotti
2015-16 - Laurent Blanc (what ever happened to him?)
2014-15 - Jose Mourinho
2013-14 - None
2012-13 - None
2011-12 - Roberto Mancini

That's the whole list, I'm pretty sure. Pretty elite company.

Levy never learns, again there is no idea, no plan....Rangnick, Benitez and Allegri have different ideas on how the game is played and all they have in common is experience.

If you believe every single newspaper article then you’ll come to this conclusion. You do know the journalists don’t have a clue and are picking names out of thin air just because they’ve been asked to write about it?

Its pretty bloody obvious Nagelsmann and Rodgers were/are wanted. I give you ten Hag, i dont think we know if we was offered it. The whored names are the likes of Sarri and Marcelino but i think its been pretty clear who we wanted and they were the 2 mentioned before we appointed Mourinho.
Don't be so fucking aggressive. I merely questioned where your list came from...even now you say it's pretty bloody obvious and yet I've seen nonofficial statement so how can you say we are on our 4th choice?

One problem we might have is that if we want a progressive manager who is going to want the players to be aggressive in closing down and energetic. Do we have the players to do that? They all seem so tired and drained. Whoever we do get in will need time to either bring players in or get those here on board and get Mourinho out of their legs. It won’t be easy.
