Slightly better than Poch I'd say and perfectly adequate to be able to communicate effectively.

Bear in mind too that that is with his emotions all over the place which is never easy. After 30 years here my language skills still take a hit if I'm angry (I can't talk about how it feels to have just won a European trophy unfortunately).

I'm hoping he's very much in the frame but that everyone's keeping their lips tightly sealed after the clusterfuck of Russia 2018

the man has managed to consistently keep championship level players in the premier league. You’re only as big as your transfer budget at the end of the day. Do you expect him to be playing Barcelona football?

people act like these mid/bottom table managers don’t understand coaching or tactics. Like they’ve never heard of fancy systems or been on a training pitch. Ridiculous. If anything they are more tactical then the big armchair managers who could field any system they like and still win simply because they can buy the best players in the world.

managers like Dyche operate tactics that win them enough points to stay in the premier league with zero budget and championship players.

he knows what he’s doing
He's definitely got better credentials than Parker or Potter

Don't be so fucking aggressive. I merely questioned where your list came from...even now you say it's pretty bloody obvious and yet I've seen nonofficial statement so how can you say we are on our 4th choice?
It was a light hearted comment on a message board about 4th choice for gods sake. You're not going to get official statements are you. We know we missed out on Van Gaal before we appointed Poch but it was never official. I have no doubt we wanted Nagelsmann and Rodgers, if you think we're still chasing our primary target then fine.

I have no idea who we are chasing (for god's sake). How could I? I merely asked a simple question and you've been 'light hearted'. I engage you in a chat and you get aggressive. Charming

I’d say potter, Parker, ralf and a few others have their teams playing far more attractive football then dyche does at Burnley. Same sort of budget.

I feel like whatever manager we bring is fucked way before the first game, if Kane leaves Levy will have to find 2 strikers because CV is definitely not staying, he can't even find one let alone two, then there is the dead wood to get rid of.

Please no Benitez can’t stand him he just mains all the time. Boring football as well can’t see him getting on with levy. Another Maureen.
Out of the British managers if Rodgers is not a available then potter looks to have built up enough experience both here and abroad to be given a shot. Plays good football and seems to have clear philosophy. Too early for Parker imo.
if we get rangrick as DOF it might work well. The Seville manager maybe as someone posted but we got Ramos based on similar vibes he didn’t last long. Don’t see too many outstanding candidates available tbh so potter might be worth the gamble.
Failing that we could always Harry up from sandbanks😀

I don't think Kane will leave but i get your point. Its why we need a DOF. The thought of Levy & Hitchen spending that potential £150m makes you shudder. The thought of Rangnick and his chosen coach spending it makes you think we could have a really good team at the start of the season.

Whisper for Sarri with Insigne following him

ChickenTonight ChickenTonight disagree incoming
Lol Salami, you really need a hobby mate. As you're someone in your 80s, I'd really expect you to act with a little bit of dignity and maturity, instead of trying to hound someone called "Chicken Tonight" off a football forum. Let it go mate.

He doesn't strike me as someone who could say things to people's faces.
Give him 6 week coaching Dier, Dave, Winks, Dele, Davies, Lamela, Doherty, Aurier etc and he'll end up like James McAvoy in Split. He'll be calling emergency meetings with himself to demand funds for upgrades. Then he'll turn himself down. Then he'll complain the media that its difficult to get funds from yourself when you're a tights fisted wanker then he'll go full beast mode and kill teenage girls.

The simple fact of the matter is we can't progress anymore with ENIC and they need to leave.

We may have to suffer some pain before we get them out though. At the moment we are too big an asset for them to sell for money that would attract the right buyer.
If we do end up with a pond feeder coach as no one else will come then we start to move back to mid table again. We lose income. We start making losses after Kanes replacement is useless. Eventually ENIC will cut their losses.

Then we can start again. We can maybe be appealing to quality coaches.

If you believe every single newspaper article then you’ll come to this conclusion. You do know the journalists don’t have a clue and are picking names out of thin air just because they’ve been asked to write about it?
Well we did go from Poch to Mourinho, Redknapp to AVB, so Levy has proven he doesn't have a real continuous football plan that he sticks to. Same goes with having or not having a DoF.
