I'm not saying I want the guy, but he's not Jose.

I'm not saying I want the guy, but he's not Jose.
Don't really want him at all. What's weird is I wanted him when Poch was sackedThe guy who is currently sitting second in the bookie's odds who hasn't even been mentioned is Nuno.
I truly don't know what to make of him or Wolves. They look like the greatest team in the world 10 games a year and then suck the rest of the time.
Fuck Rodgers. Let's go get FlickHow much has Levy saved from Roma getting in Mou now?
Maybe the funds are now back in for Rodgers?![]()

If you hated the football of Mou then Allegri is not the answer. He’s another pragmatist and that type of manager clearly does not work at Tottenham.
Most fans are very picky it seems. The fanbase as a whole seems divided on what it wants. Some want a Potter style appointment and to go into the rebuild. And some seem to still want to win things immediately with the current crop.My issue with the "Potter isn't ambitious enough" message is: Who is? I don't necessarily think there's a dearth of good managers, but there is not a huge pot of guys who are "big names".
Nagelsmann was one (though some on here though he wasn't big enough), but the only bigger job than Tottenham available happened to also be the best job for a young German coach.
I wanted ten Hag, but many here were talking about how he wasn't a big enough name or only could do it because it was Ajax. Who exists that would fill the need?
There's never an exact apples to apples, but Potter does have some of the same qualities as Poch did before joining. Once you get passed Nagelsmann, what other name would meet the criteria? At some point you just need to take a chance on someone with a vision who plays attractive football and hope we can make some smart transfers.
Not as successful?
Much rather Rodgers than Flick.

Paul O'Keefe claim that with this move we have gone from paying out his full contract length (15 mil) to only having to pay the rest of the season (3 mil). How much has Levy saved from Roma getting in Mou now?

Wolves are so boring to watch and would be another manager with ties to Mendes. The guy who is currently sitting second in the bookie's odds who hasn't even been mentioned is Nuno.

I’m pretty sure 80-85% of the fans would have been happy with ten Hag. I really wonder what the fuck happened in that meeting that made Levy do a 180 degrees. If it was money again..........I wanted ten Hag, but many here were talking about how he wasn't a big enough name or only could do it because it was Ajax. Who exists that would fill the need?
Rangnick is the guy if we're interested in being truly ambitious because it signals to me that we are going to change how we, as a club, are run. Potter would be a coach but Rangnick is a manager with extensive experience managing an entire footballing operation. My issue with the "Potter isn't ambitious enough" message is: Who is? Again, the list of managers who have won titles at multiple clubs among Europe's top 5 leagues, and who have won one of them within the last four years is: Guardiola, Conte, Klopp, Allegri. That's the whole list.My issue with the "Potter isn't ambitious enough" message is: Who is? Which is preposterous because Potter will be gone by Christmas. You can't rebuild with a manager with no credibility, and the credibility bar is high at Spurs because of Daniel Levy's long track record of quick sackings. Most fans are very picky it seems. Potter wouldn't be bad and I actually like him but Rangnick would be genuinely exciting.
