To all those that are saying bring Poch back. Do you genuinely think it will be different from the last year he was here, and if so why? Genuine question
Personally I don't think either party has moved on enough for it to work.
Why are you judging poch on his last year? He reached CL final and he knew he exhausted every avenue in club from academy to first team. He blew his top at burnley as in press conference before game he said it was a huge game and turning point. We lost and he was upset as he knew we needed a rebuild. Poor bloke was frustrated. Had no stadium no money to spend and dealing with levy. Poch loves the club whereas conte loves himself.

It might be a bit soon... but there could be a chance for it to work. Perhaps if not now, then maybe many years from now, or never... you never know in football... opportunities don't always come again... I'm conflicted a little... pros and cons. Definitely want him back, but if it's too soon, it could be set up for problems... but if not now, the moment could be gone for ever... no idea... perhaps we were better off when we were picking between Potter, Parker and Ten Hag... that would be a fresh start and the opportunity for Poch in the future would always be there!
I would like him back ,one day and under certain conditions (fully backed financially etc). But this is too soon. New mothers take almost as long away from a company with maternity leave than he has from us.

Just watching sky summed them up. Negative about tottenham then lauding chelsea. Should rename it the vanity channel.

I'm watching sky sports news now and absolutely nothing on this, what are you on about?

Amazed really. Levy breaking his back to hire a high maitenance coach and breaking bank. Whereas poch begging to come back where he built us. Easy decision levy...bring poch home.

Maybe Levy knows Poch ain't up to the last push? Maybe Levy knows more about what went wrong.
Maybe you need to get over Poch and see how he does elsewhere for a few years.

In every parallel universe in the multiverse Conte is the better hire for THFC now.

Because I don't see anything that makes me think it will be different from his last year, that is why. His boss is still Levy etc. Nothing has moved on

Howard Wilkinson won the last year of the first division. Ranieri won the premier league. George Graham won 8 trophies down the road, Wenger changed the game, there are many examples of coaches who peaked and dropped and never came back.

Poch's peak was before the CL final. That was a great cup run but we were dead and buried 3 group games in don't forget. After Christmas our league form was appalling and the football was painful. He almost certainly played his part in the lack of buying in those 2 windows. I very much doubt levy said you can't have anyone at all.

Let it go.

Were all entitled to opinions and we love club. I just felt under poch we were a joy to watch. Grew as a club but its starting to get too political. Just want us to play good football and challenge. Not much to ask really.

Fair enough. Certainly see your point. There are several IFs to bringing him back too soon... but IF the circumstances were all right, then maybe it could work out...
I think there's a future between Spurs and Poch... I thought he could be a long term manager for us... but maybe it's still a little too soon. If he came back and hadn't worked out his other goals, like Paris and Madrid, he might soon enough be looking at moving out again...
I'm flexible. Happy to see Poch return, but under good circumstances. Don't want a mess of an appointment with people unhappy... Let's have a fresh start with whoever it is, under positive circumstances, that's what I'd like... whoever it be. And I'd be open to lots of different names if it looks right.

We were as bad as often as we were good.
Plenty of dull as fuck games that got sweat under the carpet because of the ones that weren't.
Also wasted huge amounts of money on shit like Sanchez and Sissoko

Bring poch home and nice steady ship again.
And here's another

Does anyone know if any other clubs' affairs are so publicly drawn out on Twitter, or just ours?
United's definitely are to be fair. to be honest if this was Everton or someone else you'd not even notice or care. you'd assume as per all the noise Conte is coming and then you've almost forgotten when it inevitably gets announced a week later.

it's just that when it's your own club you're constantly checking for updates.

lets face it, if this was a random forum Everton or villa or something, we'd all be assuming that Conte to Spurs is happening.
