Nah. He was dissapointing for sure but he had a bunch of games where he was their best player. They just need to get him playing in the same style that he was for Dortmund, albeit he'll be coming up against better players most weeks.

Varanne is an interesting one for sure. Everyone assumed a similar outcome that you saw w/ Silva to Chelsea, but he brought zero stability to that United Backline. And when watching the games, he provided zero leadership and a willingness to motivate his fellow players next to him. Probably a language barrier is an issue here but still he plays with little emotion.Varanne is a good shout..... Spent 50m to make their defense better....... Got worse.
Hard to look past Lukaku though.... And I'm here for it.
