Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Well I don't... And that's MY prediction!

We're all welcome to our own opinions I guess...

I'm just sick of the constant narrative driven negativity when it comes to Spurs!

We've got ONE job, to support the team... Not turn up predicting a defeat...

Don't go then! or if you're not going, don't watch!
Save yourself the 'inevitable' misery!
Of course we all entitled to an opinion , I’m not the one who’s telling you your not am I ?

You’re the one telling me not to post because you don’t like my prediction.
This is a forum, we aren’t in the ground booing the team. What we write on here has no bearing on what will happen on Sunday.
Quite obviously I want us to win, I would be delighted with a draw to be honest.
My opinion Is that I think Villa will just edge it, it’s not exactly a shock thinking that. We have VDV and son out , we are playing against a team that rested midweek. It’s not like I’ve predicted Ipswich Town will beat us.

But if it makes you feel better, I will lie, and say we are going to win 7-0….There you go

Yawn

Gotta be the best squad we have and everyone has to be revved up for it. Surely Ange has to understand that this is probably the must win fixture of the season.

If he can't get us above Villa, at minimum, this season, he shouldn't get a 3rd season. We have to beat them at home, end of discussion.

If we lose, I'd have to consider sacking him, EL and LC be damned.

We're not talking about "dropping" anyone. We're talking about utilising two players of comparable ability so they both contribute to the first team. The idea is to avoid one player being overworked and the other losing match-fitness.

We're very fortunate to have two top quality attacking midfielders. I'd like to keep it that way.
I agree, but Ange won't 'replace' Deki at the moment then.....👍

Woah... Steady on old chap, no need to be outrageous,!!

-----------------Vicario------------------
Porro----Dragusin---Romero----Udogie
------------Bissouma--Sarr--------------
-----------———--Kulu------———————
--Maddison----------------------Son-—
------------------Solanke----------------

Johnson has lost his momentum, so back to second half legs, Maddison RWF drifting in with Porro staying wider and not driving as high. Bissouma or Sarr to sit a little more when the full back roams ready to cover (likewise covering for Madders/Son so they need not drive both ways soo much).

Sky Prediction

I'm absolutely bouncing to be able to get 10/11 with Sky Bet on Aston Villa avoiding defeat.

This Tottenham team still are a great watch but not one to take seriously when it comes to challenging for top honours.

The opposite can be said of Aston Villa, who aren't overly flamboyant but boy are they efficient and posses a streetwise manager in Unai Emery. Tottenham have lost nine of their last 16 Premier League games - only Wolves (12) have lost more since mid-April and the injury to Micky van de Ven only weakens them further.

If you take Man City out of the equation and just include Barcelona, Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, Chelsea, Tottenham and Woolwich, Emery has lost two of his last 12 away days against those teams and has beaten Spurs twice at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with Villa.

Emery can celebrate his 53rd birthday on Sunday with a victory that should mean he's in for a good evening.

Pretty shocking stat in there. I know our home form has been good, and that does give me some optimism. But 9 losses in the last 16 PL games? Shambolic.

Villa are everything we are not. Better than the sum of their parts, able to get results when not playing well etc

I just think we will be in for another disappointing afternoon and beating an under strength City side hasn't changed my mind about us.

Comfortable home win.

They're coming off the back of getting bummed out of the cup by Palace at home, which was preceded by a hugely disappointing draw at home to Bournemouth which would have felt like a defeat under the circumstances.

Whereas our confidence should be flying having put Man City's youth to the sword
