This is not looking good after listening to TalkSport. This guy Matt Lawton from the Times who is breaking this story is undoubtedly a Woolwich scumbag.
Why don’t they investigate the rest of us league? I’m sure there are plenty of skeletons in cupboards!
“The case was heard by an independent arbitration panel 15 years ago,” a spokeswoman for the FA said.

It's already been looked at, 15 years ago! Nothing doing then, so why would anything change?

Someone is causing mischief at the Times.

No action was taken by the Football Association at the time, but it is understood the governing body are prepared to review the allegations.

Breaches of FA agent rules have previously resulted in point deductions, transfer bans, and suspensions for club officials.

So it’s about to be a total shit show of clubs using every means they can to air each others dirt to fuck with them.

All because Everton got done and City and Chelsea are next

My sources are telling me that the FA are reopening the Woolwich promotion to the first divison case from 1919. Apparently that Henry Norris was a right wrong un.

A detailed report from The Times claims ‘The FA has said it is prepared to review evidence of potentially serious breaches of agent rules in a transfer involving Tottenham, Portsmouth and Defoe’.
I’m going by this 🤷🏼

Matt Lawton & Defoe's former agent Skye Andrew.

Seems they're mischievously pulling at threads here (........Why did Andrews let this matter lie for 15 years?).

A very simple part in all this is (as S.Jordan pointed out); in the player trf paperwork you have to declare the agent activity involved........ If we did so, then there's been no attempt to deceive on our part and it's up to the FA to do their diligence at the time.

It is alleged that the FA issued a banned non-agents list around this time, but there's no specific indication as to whether or not this list was issued before or after the trf in question.

Also notable....... JD, Spurs, P'mouth & the agent are all involved and by rights should be under scrutiny, but notice how it's only being framed as a Spurs scandal. 🙄

Also; the disconnect between the reporting of the FA position.... Now being reported as "FA will review the case" when their statement is that they will review "IF there's new evidence" to consider.
