We're like missing a whole load of players mate.
True but the staring front 3 plus Sarr, Biss, Porro and kulu are staring 11. It’s worrying the the front 3 plus Solomon are the same. Werner is still not good enough, Johnson has done ok when he has space but his crosses are all predictable. He hits with this strange feet action like his in the air and they all come in low. He needs to vary it up a bit. For me young Will is prbly a better CF than any other player we have better than veliz that is for sure. Moore is better than any of the wide players. I’d even say Porro is a bit over rated as he very rarely beats a man. Where as Spence is always looking to charge forward. Him and destiny as FBs wow teams wouldn’t know where to defend.

Johnson is instructed to hit low crosses, it's part of angeball.

The amount of slander Johnson gets is outrageous. He's a decent player who does a good job for us.

We would take that ratio in the prem every single day of the week.

The 2 chances he created were absolute sitters. 0 .95 xG type chances
That's the thing with wingers. There isn't a single one on earth that will hit the perfect cross 9/10 times, a really good winger will hit maybe 50% if the time.

If you're getting 30-40% of those crosses being absolute peaches, then you have an very good winger, no matter what the "all round game" merchants continue to moan about.

Johnson will put 25-40% of his crosses into the most dangerous areas in the box. Had our forwards been able to convert as they should, he'd have had at least another 3-4 assists to his name last season.

Another 9 million down the drain.

Don’t be ridiculous.

God our fucking fan base gotta be the most melodramatic bunch of freaks in existence.

🙈

Edit: another disagree from forum disagree merchant, my personal stalker and club hater John Thomas John Thomas 🤣

Wearing ‘em like a badge of honour.

Highest successful cross rate in the PL last season was 28%.

Average is 18%.

Johnson is 23%.

He’s not bad at all.

That's the thing... Of those 40% of crosses, the strikers (statistically speaking) are also going to only convert maybe 70-75% of those crosses if they're any good...

The percentages have to tally up, so that EVERY killer cross is converted the majority of the time...

Otherwise, you have a great cross, but no one to finish them...
Or a striker in the ideal position to be on the end of a cross that doesn't arrive...

It's SYNERGY!
