You don't think ticket touting is illegal? See the dozens of sites that have been shut down because of it, the big drive Spurs and the PL have made against it. Effectively the season ticket doesn't actually belong to one person, it is the property of the club, and you have no legal right to sell it on to another person (especially for a higher price) as it is not yours to do so. It's the same principle as you not having the legal right to, say, stream Sky Sports for people to watch despite you paying a subscription, or selling pirated DVD's even if you have paid for the original DVD. Even though you have paid it for it, the content isn't yours.

Indeed other Spurs forums have been contacted by the club to stop allowing the sale of tickets on forums.
