The decision was made this morning at 8 am. We were determined to go to Tottenham, but the offer came from Bayern, so we stopped. I was on my way to the airport.

I informed Bayern that this was the decision, that they came in the last metres and that it was difficult to change our decision.

He is happy we're going to Tottenham.
Of course, Radu also thought about Bayern's offer. We made the decision in the morning. It's hard to make such a choice. Bayern strongly wanted him, but the official offer only came last night.
There was more money from Bayern, but he said that this is the right step for his career. We stayed up all night to think. I did not sleep at all. Both Napoli and AC Milan wanted him. But he dreamed of playing in the Premier League from a young age.

Every player mentions once they’ve spoke to Ange they want to come. He is turning this club around so quick and I can’t remember ever thinking we have a brighter future than now. Imagine haveinf Biss,Sarr,Madders,Sonny and Romero to add to squad for Utd. It’s so strong now.
Another centre mid,cover for left back and a really good centre forward in the summer and we are cooking boys and girls.

Do you think the hold up was not being able to get Ange on the phone for 10 days? Transfers are complicated, this one got done pretty much within 2 weeks. That's pretty damn good from everyone involved.
 
Hey look, if Ange wanted him then I’ll leave it to his judgement. He knows better. I will say though this guy has only really played consistently for a half season of football. He’s played more senior games in the last 6 months than all his games prior, combined. Juve also sold him for a few quid a couple of months ago so Genoa are probably very happy with the ROI. And let’s face it, did anyone know of this guy before we were linked with him?

Could turn out to be a risky signing but hey, it’s in a position we need strengthening and Ange appears to have sanctioned it. He’s also very young
