Rangers are back!

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Not sure how having the same old 1,2 is worse than the same old 1 it's been. At least Celtic will have some competition. Aberdeen were ok this year but basically Celtic have been gifted titles due to Rangers' ex owner.
I guess that's true. But having Aberdeen and Hearts challenging has been more interesting for me.

Those friendly games were not in any way friendly. Rangers fans love coming down here and smashing the place up. Their friends are Chelsea. Know your history. They're cunts.
Know yours mate.Up until the Chelsea love in,spurs had a fairly strong connection with Rangers going back decades.
All went down hill when we played them pre season at the Lane(86?) and spurs attacked a mob of Millwall and the gers in the other stand thought we were attacking their own.Chelsea had got there lies in by this time as well.
Glad their back in the top flight
Well done Rangers

EDIT.
Been reminded by the post on this thread it was Millers testimonial.

Mate I have been going to Chelsea away for 10 years, they turn up every year. Why do you think you have more knowledge of the subject? There is obviously a group of Rangers fans who do have an allegiance with Chelsea, it is understandable they have the same politics. Also a simple google search will illuminate things.

History and friendship between Chelsea and Glasgow Rangers

I'd say I've more knowledge on the subject due to attending rangers matches, of course some rangers fans follow Chelsea but as many would also follow ourselves Woolwich and so on, honestly don't think there is much of a love in with Chelsea in my opinion and of course your allowed to disagree

Also, go back to the 70s and Chelsea were Celtic. There main mob was the "Kilburn Mafia" a gang of mainly London Irish who were all Celtic,or pretty much. In the early 70s Chelsea stood side by side with Celtic in Blackpool in a row with Rangers. The "special relationship" those two have is a relatively new one....New to to a 48 year old anyway :)

whilst its true that Rangers stood with us at Hadjuk Split away (@Linz), for me "we've" always been Aberdeen.

each to their own of course.

Hmm, it started largely in the 80s (although it was going on long before), I am not sure how you missed it. Especially if you go Chelsea away. Put things in perspective, would we sing Aberdeen songs at our games? The fact that Chelsea sing Rangers songs is telling.

In about 84/85.That is still fairly recent for me.And I was going Chelsea away back then.
Do you remember the half n half ski hats? There was bucket loads over spurs back then. Certainly a lot more than Celtic. Don't recall many Aberdeen(I know the connection existed, just don't remember the hats), maybe they were better dressed.

I am not talking about numbers of supporters but you do have a connection with Chelsea however small. You don't have to like it of course. It is different to being partial to other clubs. They even shared a fanzine for a while for god sake. And look at this

No I didn't go back then. I mean the Rangers shirts I see at Stamford bridge every year.

believe me there is absolutely no allegiance between the clubs or supporters go on a rangers forum when Chelsea play and it'll be plain to see.
Forums fans? They are totally different to actual fans who attend games. The chelsea soccer toughs have an allegiance with the rangers soccer toughs. Thats a cast iron fact.

I used to have a Tottenham / Rangers half and half hat, whatever happened to them things.

Remember Benny from Grange Hill getting a slap from Corries Jim MacDonald for having a west ham celtic one in The Firm.

Dragging you all back to football for a mo, big congratulations to Mark Warburton, who for the 3rd year in a row has been successful as a manager. Twice with Brentford, now with Rangers.

2013-14: Automatic prmotion to Championship. First time of asking.
2014-15: Play offs, beaten by Boro.

With Rangers, I'm not denying they should always be SPL, but they didn't get promotion last year and he improved them a lot, and immediately (6-2 v Hibs). He might well have nicked promotion 2nd season with Brentford if it hadn't been announced that he was leaving the club, upon which their results dived.

And of course got v good performances out of Alex Pritchard at Brentford. One to look out for. Spurs fan too.
