Sven had a tiny penis but Stan had a decent kick
Interested in your thoughts out of 10?

I don’t follow European Football so take my feed on Danso and Tel from TFC, who most people seem to be excited about them. Kinsky as a shot stopper seems to be behind Austin and Vicario but his distribution is way ahead. Good no.2 to replace Forster 6 months early.

Overall I would rate it 7/10. It would be a 9/10 if we got our Danso and Tel business done earlier in the window when our team was crying out for these signings.

Solid 6, 7 max on face value.

I hate doing these anyway because you can't really rate a window without seeing the finish product a couple of years down the line.

Kinsky - good signing, could be a great one. And much needed.
Tel - needed another striker. However only a loan and he's young. Could turn out to be great, but who knows. I'm excited to see how he does.
Danso - good player and has pace, looks like he'll suit our system much more than Dragusin.

Needed another CB really and we left things too late. Gets a 5 from me for now. But if Tel / Danso work out, that would then go up to about a 7 or 8 (maximum).

Shadydan Shadydan is right in that it is hard to rate properly until we see if the signings pay off.

Everything fantastic apart from missing out on Guehi who DL offered £70M for. But I guess we didnt really miss out on him because he decided he wanted to stay at Palace - so no one was going to get him regardless. Business could have been done a couple of weeks earlier, but then that can manifest a risk of paying higher prices with longer drawn out negotiations. Overall another good window. Well done DL.

Waited the whole window to get a defender in. Any centre back coming earlier in the window would have been a massive help.

Same with Tel, although I appreciate the opportunity to bring him in may not have presented itself until late.

We needed more.

I had already written the league off before the window opened, was never worried about relegation, and cup campaigns did not suffer from the timing of the signings. So this lack of urgency does not make any difference to my evaluation like it might do to some people's. We were a treadmill team before the window, we still are at the present. Nothing essential has changed with these 3 additions.

Kinsky is more than okay of a signing, considering how little resources teams usually invest in their backup GKs. In the worst case scenario, even if he doesn't take over from Vicario in a couple of years, chances of having to take a loss are very little. Good business.

Danso is in the grey zone between being the Romero replacement and being just another uninspiring stopgap player. Probably not good enough to be the former, but too good to be the latter. So it'll depend on what kind of a role they envision for him going forward. If Gray turns out to be the first choice at RCB then Danso and Dragusin will do the job as backups. For a bigger role he seems like an underwhelming signing. Jury's out.

Tel's heart doesn't seem to be in it, even assuming that he's as good as the hype surrounding him suggests. It's a low risk high reward move though. We send him back if he turns out to be a flop, we'll get to enjoy him for a couple of months if he doesn't agree to stay, and in the best case scenario we'll have a quality player in our hands for a relatively modest price. A worthy gamble overall.

I'm going with 6 for now. Depending on how Tel plays, and whether or not we can secure his long-term commitment, it can go up to 8 or 9.

Never really a fair rate as a rating is really only as true as what they turn out to play like over the next few months.

However, we’ve got some backup, I think Kinsky is a good signing, Danso at least fills a gap. Tel, May at the very least provide some proper competition up top in those positions.

We haven’t bought any proven quality which is a shame, but we have at least done something, which is more than I thought we would a few weeks back.

We’re always hamstrung by doing any business we do late, due to the potential points we miss out on in the meantime. I don’t care if it makes negotiations longer or more drawn out, you’re the highest paid chairman in the league, suck it up.

Should have moved earlier, but I think the three we have bought in are at least promising, hopefully effective players.

I’ll go with a 6.

Worth looking at how some of our rivals fared in the window - ManU despite being a far richer club than Spurs only got one defender in and lost several attackers so arguably ended with a weaker squad than the started the window with. And their squad is weaker than Spurs if neither club has injuries.

And looking at all other PL clubs, fully half seem not to have signed anyone else, including Newcastle, Woolwich and Chelsea . Arguably the only club to have signed more decent players than Spurs is ManCity

Spurs signed 3 first teamers in Kinsky, Tel, and Danso (without counting Yang who could only be registered at Spurs this window) plus also 3 x 18 year olds in who will play in our u21's - one or two of whom may well train with first team in the short term and might even make our bench and next preseason.

Kinsky looks to be as good or better than most PL GK's so we are no longer dependent on Vicario, Danso looks a dependable CB with the benefit of HG in PL whilst Tel is one of the highest regarded young players in europe, so getting him through the door is an impressive feat : he may turn out to be 'average' or might go back to his 23/24 form where he was very special.

I suspect it maybe Spurs biggest and best January transfer window since Harry Redknapp bought 5 first team players (including Defoe and Keane) in January 2009 following Juande Ramos disastrous start to the season, with only the more recent January window bringing in Bentancur and Kulusevski coming anywhere close.

So with the players brought in .... for me its a definite 7 and if Tel reverts to his 23/24 form it could be a 9 (a mark I've never given to any window)

Good recruits on paper, hopefully they’ll fit in perfectly

Unfortunately the last two signings came in too late. We also could have done with another cb
