Definitively not at the moment. If this is the squad we have we are fucked.

I would re-evaluate if we could actually get some defenders, specifically the fullbacks, and our one decent winger (Kudus) healthy.

Until then, I believe we’re down.

I don't like these kinds of questions- the important factor for people actually involved is genuinely working, trying and doing it.

To cast either doubt or misplaced confidence onto a situation is itself putting certain energy into the world, influencing events subtly with a turn of fate. Better for us I think to say nothing and offer support how we can. These sorts of predictions are not that.

We’re down. I believe all of the doom. I do not see a possible way the squad has the mettle or the quality to get out of this. I think it’s over.

We can start by at least drawing vs Fulham, and winning v Forest. If we win Fulham and draw Forest that is ok too.

We need 11 points. It is absolutely doable, but we need to stop fucking around with the shit lineups.

Oh it’s another boldly over optimistic Rich Arlison prediction, I’m sure this time it’ll go the way he thinks!

I told them and they laughed

It's not really a yes or no question. The likelihood is yes we will stay up but right now with our form it looks like our safety is in doubt.

We are the only team in the league that hasn't got any available wingers, left side and right side, in a league where teams pay fortunes for wingers for a reason.

I think he has to play 3 up top with Richarlison and Kolo Muani either side of Solanke until Kudus returns.

But Lange said nobody was available in January. Oscar Bobb and Rayan made moves in January but apparently 16th place Tottenham too good for both of them.

It's a shambles what those at the top have done to the club. A right back at left back for over a year now, one with a shit attitude as well it should be said. Show me another club in the league that plays a RB at LB without care in the world about it. It isn't on

Shows how clueless the board is. Sacking Frank before a NLD and giving the new manager an ass whipping on his first day to destroy the new manager bounce.

Frank should have had his last game yesterday. Then bring in Igor.

Bell ends.
He should have gone the after losing the first nld.. if not then; losing the Chelsea game… and !! If not then..losing vs West Ham! But if not then… the moment he drank a fucking coffee outta a Woolwich cup!!!

They performed a massive coup getting Mourinho. Nobody expected him at Spurs. And then rather than back him, gave him Reguillon, Doherty, Rodon, Vinicius and Joe Hart - and once again though they were the smartest people in the room, bringing back Bale; who was playing part time to stay fit for Wales.

They got a bitter Mourinho who was broken after Madrid. I don't think Jose used Bale well enough, or got the players he wanted, but despite that was doing okay in the first half of his full season.

That said, some of his management was terrible. When he signed he claimed Spurs should be top 3 under Poch, got us knocked out of the CL, ruined Dele and Rose, then started blaming everything on his dog dying at Christmas, and left us 7th.

Obviously he deserved the cup final and a full season like most managers before him also never got, but the form of his Spurs team ended up worse than any other team he managed for decades — we were conceding 5 goals in one game.

Listen, we tried for Semenyo and it’s not the clubs fault they sold Johnson. Or Franks fault that he couldn’t get a tune out of him or wouldn’t use him.

Joking aside, on the RB front. We have a fit RB with a bad attitude but rather than play him at RB and someone else LB we got for two players out of position instead make it make sense.

I really don’t know enough about this manager.
Going to be an interesting 3 months.

The main plus point is we have 4 x 6 pointers at home.
And then another home match the last day of the season against a team that should be on the beach.

You couldn’t ask for more help than that.

It’s in our hands. For now.

Always a horrible game to lose. Went in with some optimism but the harsh reality is Woolwich are a team on top of their game in every sense. Completely aligned, with a manager who’s been there 6 years and nearly a full squad to choose from. They are much better than us so it’s not exactly a surprised that they battered us.

We are a club at our lowest point in years, with close to our best starting 11 out injured or suspended, with a manager who arrived on Monday. Today was never going to be the gauge of whether we can get out of this mess. And if we were going to get anything out of it then everything needed to go for us.

If Kolo Muani’s perfectly legitimate goal doesn’t get ruled out. If Palhinha makes an effort to get in front of Gyokeres to stop the shot. If Richarlison’s shot goes over the line - then maybe we would have got something. But we won’t be going down because we couldn’t beat Woolwich.

Real work starts now but I can not wait for the season to be over.

The most important thing about this week was 1. Showing the capability to fight and 2. To not have the teams below us make up ground on us.

West Ham and Forest missed out on big points, meaning this game was a free hit. The real work starts with the realistic games ahead. Fulham, Palace, Forest, those are the 3 big ones. Fulham I'd take a draw, the others are absolutely must win. The Liverpool game sandwiched in between another free swing given our circumstances.

Dele was finished long before Jose arrived.

Jose had Spurs top of the league after 12 games, with only 1 loss; and only 10 goals conceded. Heading into the new year, Spurs were still 3rd. If Jose was backed in Janaury window; Spurs would have been top 4 and lifted a trophy that season.

The wheels fell off at the end of January. (Guess how many players were signed in January to help the team.....). Injuries and fatigued piled up, and Jose had many players in his squad he couldn't rely on - Reggie (crap), Dele (druggie), Ndombelly (fat), Lo Celso (injured), Bergjwin (crap), Dier (recent surgery), Sissoko (crap), Vinicius (crap), Winks (crap), Lamela (always injured), Bale (part time).

This was the transfer window to back Jose. PATHETIC and insulting to one of the worlds best coaches.

These players ought to be embarrassed and worried. They could go down in history as the players who got Tottenham relegated from the premier league for the first team ever.

They seem to think they’re blameless, when in reality they’re a huge part of it.
