Yes, they absolutely deserve it, totally. But regardless, i'm not sure everyone quite understands the financial implications of us going down. It would arguably be more catastrophic than any other club going down due to our extreme infrastructure costs. If we didn't come back up imminently, we are more than fucked. That stadium and training ground simply wont be able to be paid for sustainably - the spurs we have all supported for years, might never truly return. Its a different world now, getting relegated with the kind of revenues involved as 'one of the big six' clubs, is truly unthinkably bad now

You can think they deserve it all you want, but you might lose your club as you have known it all your life...

Which is why there should have been riots for the mess they’ve left us in, but it’s too late now. We need to pray now we survive.

Let it burn 🔥 the fuck down. This has been a slow road to absolutely nowhere.

They have allowed what was, to become essentially a public urinal. They had no shame in letting the shirt, badge and our history be humiliated time and time and time again, while the profits all came flooding in.

Far too many people didn’t care anywhere near enough while our proud history was allowed to be eroded under the constant sniggering and derision.

I said, for many years, that this all has a whiff of Coventry about it and here we are on the cusp of the very same thing.

I can only hope this club goes down and goes bust. From the wreckage we will recover, we might not play in the ( awful ) stadium again, we might not play in Europe or the Premier League for years to come, but so fucking what ?

We stink the league out now anyway and I am sick to death of what we ( they ) have allowed us to become. We client reference numbers can’t even be arsed to storm the pitch, too passive for years and we have to accept we have enabled our own demise. And they seem to have forgotten what we ever stood for, or meant to stand for.

We are prisoners of ENIC. Let it end.

Just about..

I think we can scrape together a win against a really out of it Palace & then another win or two from the other fixtures. Probably a draw in there somewhere too.

Combined with a 4 point gap & the fixtures others have we will keep our head above water. Especially when a few players come back.

Maybe.

Anyone who thinks we’d come straight back up if we went down is naive. We’d be down there for a while.

Even if we stay up, we’re not returning to being a European regular anytime soon. We’re becoming an Everton. Just happy to be in the league.
I'm absolutely convinced ENIC's plan was to have us finish round P14 for a season or two, then invest a tiny bit to get us back up to P7-P10, so they could claim progress, ambition etc...knowing plenty naive fans would buy it...meanwhile basically mugging us off and not having to spend proper big club money, filling their boots instead. Rinse & repeat for a few years.

What the cunts didn't anticipate however, is that we'd finish 17th last year and on course to do even worse this season, getting relegated at the end of it. Proper backfired that and now, cause they're arrogant clueless cunts, never even thought of what ifs, they have fuck all emergency plan to get us out of that serious funk we're in. And to be honest, I genuinely think they don't give a shit. They'll find a way to make their money back even if when we go down to the Champo and they'll never ever think it was their fault.

Fulham (A): 1 point
Palace (H): 3 points
Liverpool (A): 0 points
Forest (H): 3 points
Sunderland (A): 1 point
Brighton (H): 3 points
Wolves (A): 1 point
Villa (A): 0 points
Leeds (H): 3 points
Chelsea (A): 0 points
Everton (H): 3 points

18 points should see us firmly mid table

Oh it’s another boldly over optimistic Rich Arlison prediction, I’m sure this time it’ll go the way he thinks!

The Office Reaction GIF

I don't think so.

Have serious concerns about the squad's character and level of fight, not much of any reaction for the new guy. We have games against teams who are used to scrapping and plenty of games against the teams that are directly around us.

We need at least one win in the next 2 as does anyone realistically think they can get anything at Anfield? I was holding off on pessimism until I saw if there was a reaction or noticeable level of desire/fight/heart.

We are bang in trouble.

If we lose against Fulham, it would mean 4 points from a potential 40 throughout 2026, the worst in the league, and much worse return than Forest and West Ham.

Just like when Spurs threatened to win the League under Poch, the entire league will conspire against Spurs to ensure relegation.

Just as other teams laid down for Leicester. The last few games of the season will be telling. Other teams may be willing to gift points to our relegation rivals to see us go down.

I think there's going to be one or 2 points in it either way. I think we'll be bottom 3 for points taken between now and the end of the season. We are playing the worst football in the league and everything within the club is fractured. Wolves look a more together club than us currently. I think people are going to be in for a shock and we are going to spend some time in the bottom 3 between now and the end of the season. All the time wasted on giving Frank shit when the pressure should of been put elsewhere and now we are fucked.

I'm usually a complete happy clapping freak.

I watched West Ham on Saturday and they were playing better football with more conviction than we've played all season.

So, I've voted "no".

I knew things would get bad this season. I just never dreamt it would get this bad.

I think we will survive. The points advantage we have, the fact that both rivals would need to pass us, and Forest being poor. Leeds could also save us.

I also think this run of play is so poor it can only improve, we will not end the year on form like we have presently, and if we’re only as good as we were before the new year we’d survive.

We were almost decent in the first half against a top of the table opponent. If not for Sarr’s error we may have led at the break. There was the start of something there.

I think Tudor will be able to grind out a couple of points but it may come down to the final day which is humiliating enough

Well on what I seen today I'm honestly not sure , I simply don't see where the points are coming from .
Relying on other teams to get less , or not enough , is a recipe for disaster .
The longer we go without winning the harder it is to see us winning again , irrespective of who we play .

Pretty much where I'm at. Tudor is going to have to throw the UCL to do it, but I think we'll just barely finish above Forrest for 17th. If we do stay up, I think it'll more so due to the clubs below us screwing up than us playing better.
