Just about Tudor and the team until and hopefully we secure safety.

Fcuk ENIC for now.
Wrong.

It's all about ENIC. this mess is there's. And must never be forgotten.
Brushing it under the carpet and sticking your fingers in your ears ain't gonna improve our chances of staying up.

You need to stop trying to referee the forum and deciding what other posters can and cannot talk about

Let it roll, man

What are we even doing down here tbh. I doesn't make sense, we've had much worse teams and at worst we'd just be languishing around 12th or something.

Amazing what's happened. Literally From new year's Day to now as we were still picking up the odd win every 3 games.

Edit* looking back through results it literally happened from Sunderland away onward on January 4th. Wgen Kudus was injured....our one tactic
Now I don't think we know how to score

Not accusing anyone of making assumptions, everyone’s opinion has assumptions factored in and that’s ok.

I’m talking about selling 3 or 4 players. The fee is driven by the buyers - there will be many clubs hosting to take Romero and VDV which will create a market price, not some desperate bargain price

I think relegation will cause a shock and create a change in strategy from the ownership - they either invest to secure stability and promotion, or sell a minority, or majority stake…. As well as sacking Lange and Vinai et al
Not accusing people of making assumptions? You said just that.

The fee might not, and likely won’t, be driven by buyers it will be driven more than likely by contract clauses and yes they would be bargain prices.

If relegation happens way more than 3-4 players will be gone.

I disagree - Romeros price is set by the amount the buying clubs offer…. And there will be multiple bids for multiple clubs.

It would be nice to see them actually have a strategy

Whether we stay up or not, in the summer I want the majority of this squad sold.
I don't care if they're internationals.
I don't care if they're actually decent players.
I don't care if there's potential for them to come good.

There is a disgusting mentality at Spurs now. One I just don't believe we can fix with a new coach, no matter who he is or how good he is.
It's too far gone and the best thing to do, is get rid of as many players who are moping about with a lack of interest.
I would say at this point there are no jewels. Not a single player should be safe from being sold.
We should not mourn the loss of anyone.
I agree. They can all go. And that includes Doris the tea lady.

My hope is that we stay up & this scares the bejesus out of ENIC into remembering that football is an integral part of the beast they’ve created.
The whole club needs a hard reset throughout from the owners right through to the playing staff.

Recruitment is clearly a huge problem for the club so that needs to be a priority.

I’m hoping if we stay up it scares ENIC into selling up before their investment is jeopardised by another awful season.

I reckon Staveley will be circling like a vulture over a carcass.

Thought he would have gone in the summer but signed a new contract. Athletico are apparently selling Alvarez in the summer. He will be 80m plus so gives them plenty to buy Romero. If we are down we obviously won’t get as much. 60-70 is my guess. Micky prob go as well whether we are up or down. If we are down that only just covers the gaps.

If we stay up we will lose Davies, Muani, Bissouma, poss Palhinha. That’s just due to end of contract and loans.
Go down and our very best will go as well.
Since Conte went all the people running the club have changed plus all players bar one. Actually got worse.

There’s definitely big issues behind the scenes. The players look like they’re not interested in it at all. It’s like there’s a clear divide between the squad and the club. Last season we were shite in the league but you could see the connect still between the players. This year that’s gone.

Whatever happens this summer, there needs to be a big look into that. A real change in every area.

Haven’t won a game in 9 tries without him. Won at a 37% clip with him. He will most definitely improve us massively.
The hate he gets is pathetic.
He's MILES more effective than Xavi ball hogger Simons.

He has the joint 5th most assists and hasn't played for months.

He absolutely will improve our attack. He can actually hold on to the ball. He can actually get it into the opposition 3rd. And he can actually get it to a team mate.
The only other players we have that can do it with any consistency are Maddison and Kulusevski.

I'm sure Vinai will get another role somewhere due to the old boys club nature of the business, also he could feasibly slope the responsibility for our performance away from himself.

Fucking Lange though? Useless turnip ought to never work again, in football or any other walk of life.

Utter gimp.

Really clutching at straws here, but in his brief cameo Danso looked like such a huge upgrade on Dragusin. Once Romero's back we've actually got a solid back 3 and some more competent passing in the back line.

Beyond that I think we need to pray Tudor stumbles onto some kind of synergy in the front line and midfield. Maybe Tel and Souza can give us some impetus. Or Rich can actually provide us with a few goals and will us over the line like he did Everton a few years ago.

So, so obvious that we're massively limited in midfield and can't control games or pass between the lines, though. Mental that pretty much every Spurs fan KNEW we desperately required a passing midfielder in any of the past 3-4 windows yet we've managed to bring in 2 guys who are rudimentary on the ball at best in Palhinha and Gallagher. The recruitment braintrust truly are braindead - and Frank specifically requesting a destroyer didn't help. Dickheads.
Richie has got a lot of stick over the years, including from me however if he looks like the only one out there at the minute that knows what this means to the fans, and is giving everything. Fair play Pigeon boy!

Agree but you also have Vicario, Bentacur, Porro and Richy to sell. None of those will be missed….. another 75M and plenty of wages gone too

A Paulinha and Gallagher combo is a hard watch
