If we get relegated this is what happens

Vicario sold back Serie A for around 20m
Kinsky probably stays along with Austin. Those two plus a more experienced keeper battle it out for #1 shirt
Porro will be sold but no idea who to. Maybe Villareal type signing 30m
Romero sold to Athletic Madrid for around 55m
VDV sold to Liverpool for around 60m
Danso sold to Lyon for 20m
Phillips returns from loan to play
Dragusin sold to Udinese for 15m
Spence probably stay as nobody is buying him and I doubt we can loan him
Vuskovic sold to Bayern or Real for 75m
Takai stays
Udogie sold to Atalanta for around 20m
Davies out of contract but offered one year deal to stay and captain team in Championship
Souza stays but continues to look bewildered
Bentancur sold to Betis for 15m
Gray loaned to Leeds for one season
Bissouma out of contract and leaves
Sarr sold to Marseille for 10m
Kudus sold to Everton for 40m
Kulusevski sold to Milan for 30m

So this is what we have

Kinsky, Austin, Phillips, Spence, Davies, Takai, Souza, Devine, Yang, Solomon, Odobert, Moore, Scarlett, Lankshear, Melia and Wilson. Add in some more players from the Academy like LWB and that's your squad.

Looks like we've been planning for the Championship for a long time. Need a few CMs with experience of the Championship and off we go. Plus should be able to get in around 500m and a lot of wages off the books.
 
Do you know what the saddest thing about Tottenham and our collapse? Its how its literally self inflicted

Weve seen big clubs go down due to financial hardship, sanctions for breaking rules, or simply just not being good enough because they haven't got the muscle to do so But with Tottenham, this is basically a choice of the owners to relegate the club.

For a club to be in such a strong financial position, to be in a position to spend £200m on players and have it not affect our PSR, only to choose to spend just £13m when we are staring at relegation with the worst injury crisis weve seen ever at Tottenham is nothing short of criminal negligence

There are plenty of people to blame but the blame is no doubt at the feet of Daniel Levy, ENIC, Lewis Family, Charrington, Lange and Vinai for the mess we are are in and the fact we are about to be relegated

They need to sell up and the entire board needs clearing out if we are to move forward as a club Football needs putting first again, not profits, not F1 go karting, not concerts, not NFL, not boxing events.... FOOTBALL They need to sell up and we need owners in who will put football at the front of everything

I get its easy to hate on Levy as he is a bit of a panto villain, however its not like he was funnelling money away to his personal accounts, he was running Spurs under the financial restraints and direction of ENIC, his biggest mistake though which i think has tainted his legacy was the appointment of Vinai and Lange.

They will also be at a club that will undergo a re-set, hopefully under Poch., but will have far greater resources than the oppo in the championship, and SHOULD come straight back up.

I think you will see both Porro and VDV being sold this summer. Because Tottenham need the cash, and do not want to pay the wages.

Bergvall and Vuskovic joined us over other elite clubs to develop and because they would have been sold a project that the long term aim is to win titles. That project is in tatters in the Championship, even if Poch is our manager down there. How can you sell a 5 year plan to win the Premier League when in year 2 or 3 you're playing Preston North End?

They may belly ache initially if you stand firm, but they don’t seem the type to go on strike and sulk.

THEY’RE UNDER CONTRACT! Unless there’s a relegation extraction clause they don’t have a choice. Do you honestly think we’re going to sell the whole squad just because they don’t want to play Championship football?!

I know they're under contract but we both know that this just isn't how football works. These are elite young talents, they are not turning down Barcelona or Man City to play Portsmouth away and hang around lower midtable Premier League for a few seasons.

The players we'll keep in the Championship will be the likes of Danso, Spence, Kinsky, Sarr because that's their level and then young players like Moore, Yang Min-Hyeok, Scarlett, Alfie Devine, Ashley Phillips, Takai. I also think we'll keep Maddison because he won't be the same player after his injury. Maybe Solanke because he's not good enough for the money we'd want for him.

We'll likely be buying and selling 10-11 players each way.

I don’t think it will be as black and white as you predict especially if we get Poch in to sweet talk them.

Spot on, some of them are decent. If they were incorporated into a good team with a good manager some could really take the next step. Unfortunately they don't look like getting into a good team at the moment.
