This all depends on how Spam and Forest both do, and Leeds are not far out of the picture as well.

With 10 games remaining and 3 points separating all involved, no game will be decisive until the final weeks. We have two agonizing months to go.

We could very well have a 4 way scrap to the finish where only one is going down, and we survive by blind luck.
We could and should also stop playing like shit and lift ourselves well clear of the mess.

It's such a disgrace we're this bad.

It would be fun in the sense that the football would be better to watch.

But it would be the end of the club as we know it. It would take years to recover from relegation, if they ever do with this ownership. And we would be subject to taunting and banter from every rival club until the end of time.
I could handle everything else but you know the ridicule would be endless! 🤬

Leeds are the strongest of all the sqaufs around us over the last 3 months, they're fine, sadly.
In terms of like mentality, unity, coherence...sure. In terms of actual quality players I still think they're the weakest of the bunch.

Their squad doesn't look remotely out of place in the Champ, whereas if you look at us, West Ham and Forest there are some really top quality individuals (Andersen, Bowen, MGW, Romero, VdV, Murillo, Fernandes).

For me Leeds are greater than the sum of their parts and under a worse manager could be absolutely arse relegation fodder.

I’m stunned, genuinely stunned. As the weeks have gone on, I’ve been waiting for us to snap out of it and actually put some results together but the performances are actually getting worse. I have no confidence we’ll get a result tomorrow and for the first time, I’m petrified we’re going down. We are not getting a result at Anfield, simple as that, and I think we could potentially be in the relegation zone after that game.

I do wonder if relegation could potentially be good for us in the long run. ENIC might either sell the club or actually start to take the footballing side seriously. It would give us a great excuse for ripping apart the squad and essentially starting a fresh. Essentially hit reset. Now this is all based on us coming straight back in to the EPL the year after but bloody hell something has to change regardless next season because this club is a mess.

I’m coming to terms with going down

We can still get Poch

We get rid of the smelly cunt players

We have a great reset.

We bring through Vuskovic and Moore

We still have the best stadium and highest ticket prices in the league.

We get cold Tuesday nights at Stoke !

But football isn't played on paper. We have no right to be flirting with relegation, yet here we are. That Sunderland team is horrific for the most part, they're fine.
Leeds have a coach who's found out the best way to highlight the best qualities, and mask the deficiencies. Frank was supposed to do that here, but has made them scared of their shadows. It would be much more unlikely for Leeds to go down than us given that we haven't been able to pick up points for the best part of 3 months, whilst they've gained more than everyone else in the relagation conversation.

At this stage, that is wishful thinking. I've said for weeks and weeks, it's us or Palace.

I'm surprised how apathetic the match going fans seem to be about this whole thing tbh. There's no real protests, not even a chant against the board it's baffling. Just some booing at half time and full time.
For now we get behind the players. There is nothing to be done from upstairs at this stage. If we are relegated then all the hate of hell can and should be unleashed at them but for now the crowd needs to be in full voice in the direction of the pitch pushing the team forward. They may be a bunch of donkeys but they are our donkeys and it is do or die time.
