Bring back Dele. Why no? Absolutely nothing to lose. Get it done.

Well, you could argue there's plenty to lose. I love Dele but there must be reasons why no-one is coming in for him, and surely he'd have made enquiries about the possibility of coming back by now. His only competitive football in 2-3 years has been a 10 minute cameo where he was sent off.

I wish him all the best, but feel that right now he'd be better served trying to rebuild his career at a Championship or Div 1 club.

(so maybe us next season)

European football still possible next season then........ :porrogasp:

Whatever a maximum haul of points brings.

I am not naive enough to think we aren't potentially so bad as to not get any more points this season, but I just can't conceive this group of players can't secure let's say 9 or 10 more points

If it's somewhere in between, then we should be fine. If it's less than 9 or 10 we are most likely down.

Jeez. I am nowhere near as optimistic as you. I see a team that is shot and scared as fuck. Win tonight though, and that could turn a corner. We have the ability - if the confidence returns - to get out of this. No question.

Exhibit A.

Exhibit B.
Thomas Frank's praise of Woolwich reportedly rubbed the Tottenham squad up the wrong way. Sacked Spurs boss Thomas Frank reportedly would not stop talking about Woolwich to his players, so much so that there was a feeling of “just shut up about Woolwich.”
I do wonder if the ‘won’t stop talking about Woolwich’ is a convenient excuse for these wasters because us as fans would align with that statement.

If they think that much about Tottenham Hotspur that they’d get offended about the comparison with Woolwich, why are they not showing us their passion for this club on the pitch?!

Convenient bullshit excuse from them IMHO!

Yeah, I looked at tickets for tonight and it's half empty. They're trying to charge £63-£100 for this match, and ain't no-one paying that for a team playing like we are this season - but because 70% of the stadium is Season Ticket sales now, they can't drop prices to fill up seats so we end up playing to empty seats.

This is availability for tonight's game in my usual area:

If you think that's bad have a look at the available tickets for Athletico Madrid. They have hardly sold any - quite scary.

I don't think I'm necessarily optimistic. I just think we will find a way, or another team will simply flunk.

What I don't subscribe to is that any of those bottom 7 or 8 teans are that good, or have any player that is such a difference.

One or two might be playing with confidence and one or two teans putting things together, but that's it.

Time for our players, and the manager, albeit only 2 games in, to stand-up.

At last this is being picked up by a journalist!

It's what a hell of a lot of us have been saying for years!

I really think the club, stadium and shirt is too big for a lot of these players, if not 90% of them. They just dont have the minerals for it.
That and there are some of them that think that they are too big for the shirt. Which is a completely different type of mentality problem but just as damning.

Yeah, although member sale only started today and tend to be a lot more seats available for CL games.

I agree though - it should have been a sell out. I remember queueing up outside the ticket office from about 6am back in 2011 for our knockout game with Milan and we only just got seats.

Ah, that would partly explain it, at least for now. It seems that most ST holders (at least those not on the Cup Ticket Scheme) didn't take the club up on the offer they couldn't refuse.

For now we get behind the players. There is nothing to be done from upstairs at this stage. If we are relegated then all the hate of hell can and should be unleashed at them but for now the crowd needs to be in full voice in the direction of the pitch pushing the team forward. They may be a bunch of donkeys but they are our donkeys and it is do or die time.

What concerns the matchdays - yes. That is the way to go.

But I mean... come on... don't we have smart fans around? That would know where Vinay and Lange are living in?
There HAVE TO BE protest, signs, banners, fireworks going off every night next to their houses, very clear and loud (yet non-violent nor law-breaking) reminder constantly that they are thoroughly hated and their total incompetence is existential threat to the club!

Cause these cancers have to be operated out as soon as possible. Regardless if we go down or stay up. Cause THEY proved with December-January period that they do not have what it takes. Not even 10% of what is needed.

You do seem rather obsessed with me, specifically an unfortunate phrase in a post of mine - "imagined misery".

It was a poor choice of words, no doubt. Mea culpa.

In my defence, you and others have taken my words out of context somewhat. It was in reply to someone saying IF we could somehow rustle up a win after rivals and lost, THEN, they wondered, would people stop panicking. And of course, we couldn't, so my point becomes even more irrelevant.

So my post, and the contentious phrase, was imagining that scenario. My point - badly expressed - was that a certain group of people would cling on to wallowing in misery (as we saw immediately after Bilbao, for example). I stand by that, but obviously not the idea that any misery during the Fulham game or now is "imagined", of course it isn't.

Can we move on now?

Fair play

I'll stop now

We are going down. Been clear for weeks.

That squad absolutely does not have the bollocks for a relegation fight
. Add to that our atrocious form, injuries, dodgy ref calls, media pressure...and other teams picking up big points...perfect storm ain't it.

We're not beating Palace tomorrow.

Tottenham Hotspur will be playing Championship football next season
. Let that sink in.
Well you're a little fucking ray of sunshine, ain't ya?

Not saying you can't have your opinions, or truly believe them... That's your choice entirely, and good luck to you...
But I just hope to fuck you're not doing the team talk this evening!!! 😉
