Since Tudor shows no sign to turn it around, we need to change, again.
I wanted us to go for Solskjær, and still think he can be a much better fit.

We have now tried to go for kind of the opposite, a autoritative hard nail from Balkan, but we seem more frightened and disillusionated, than inspired.

Sunny is an excellent coach for counter attacking football, and can coach and sell in recognisable patterns of play in a short time, as we saw from his instant turnaround with United .

Us now in a state not so far from how Utd appeared to be after the Mou debacle. The surroundings and fans all said the players were hopeless, and bought into Mous moaning over lack of quality, but the quality was there, and Ole got them second and third, two consecutive seasons.

Even though the players frustrate me, and you objecticly may question their effort, I can't imagine they don't want to give us more than they are able to atm.

No more barking and negativity - no, I don't like how Tudor kind of talks the players down, but get someone in who can bring some positive vibes, trust and simple messages through.

Ole is ready for a job, and can start right away..

Listening to Borson has put a different perspective on some of this for me.

It's a problem that many clubs have to face in the modern era.

What If you had a large group of players that you wanted to get rid of, but no other top club would pay them the wages you are currently paying them, so many of them will not leave?

Imagine being able to cut these players wages by 50%?

Faced with a pay cut; all of a sudden a bigger percentage of these players would actually want to leave the club and their agents would actively seek a transfer for their clients.

The scenario changes overnight.

We know ENIC do not like paying player wages.

In this world could the plan be to deliberately get relegated?

I don’t think that’s the case with our players - a lot of the more highly paid ones have a value and will have interest

Lange/Vinai/ENIC even if we do survive have so much to answer for.

1 why when Son is gone did we not replace him with a goalscoring winger, we even got offered Lookman who is balling for Athletico and scores goals.

2 why when Davies is injured and Udogie is always injured did we chance it with a kid in Souza and no other player on top.

3 why do we have only one deep midfielder in Bergvall who can put his foot on the ball.

4 why did we get rid of Johnson and sign nobody only for Kudus to get injured.

5 why did we buy Gallagher when he is only suited to Poch style pressing teams for Frank who couldn’t press the button on a coffee machine.

Despite out relatively low wages in terms of transfer we have spent a lot and yet the squad balance is all over the shop. It’s not lack of talent it’s lack of profile. Great having 3 strikers in Solanke, Richy and Muani but then you don’t have wingers, great having some AM’s but then you don’t have deep lying playmakers. Lange is theoretically as DoF responsible for this and of course whoever hired him.

In short this club is run by really dumb people. All of it needs to go at the top, Levy is gone thankfully but also the Lewis’s, Lange, Vinai. The club needs a new culture and new owners. ENIC are fucking useless.
It’s a complete lack of any joined up thinking!

The recruitment strategy has been scattergun at best and screams of someone completely out of their depth.

Lange may turn up the odd youth jewel, but he’s clearly demonstrated he’s not the man to build a squad.

Vinai is another one that’s been over promoted and clearly isn’t up to the job.

These two muppets have ruined us this season.

If he just stuck to specifically hunting out youth prospects I wouldn't even mind, but he's clearly well overpromoted. He has no business having so much responsibility

Paratici isn’t getting enough shit for the piss poor squad he built and money he squandered. I said it as soon as he came in that he would be shit and he was out of date. He built a Watford style mishmash squad of whoever agents are pawning on him. While Bournemouth, Brighton, any other premier league club was building a proper top down structure where DOF, Coach, Recruitment were all aligned on a progressive style of play we had this dinosaur implementing mid 2000s style recruitment in the 2020s.

Agree. Odobert is not a goal scorer. Not replacing Son was criminal.

Pretty sure the club though Spence, Gray and Porro was 'adequate'

3 why do we have only one deep midfielder in Bergvall who can put his foot on the ball.

Gallagher, Sarr ,Bergvall, biss, Bentencur, Palhinha. Too many midfielders who don't pass forward.

4 why did we get rid of Johnson and sign nobody only for Kudus to get injured.

Frank's fuck up. Johnson and his camp said play me or sell me. His family are very influential. Johnson leaving upset many within the squad and was the last straw for Frank.

5 why did we buy Gallagher when he is only suited to Poch style pressing teams for Frank who couldn’t press the button on a coffee machine

He was home grown and available. We needed creative players, but nothing available.

Is the answer to all of those not - to save money?

I've said similar - it can be seen as beneficial as the only way to sterilize the club.

Otherwise, you'll have parasites clinging on for their mega wages. If those are contractually halved, it makes it more likely they'll go

Stefan Borson talking about the implications of relegation for Spurs.

You need to pick it up from 10:40 to avoid hearing the stuff about Chelsea.

Exactly what I thought with regards to revenue / costs….. this is a very profitable season, next season will be a big reduction but offset by a big reduction in wages and sales.

We need a good fucking clear out from top to bottom and to start winning some games! Get Poch in

And the players you want to keep, can be incentivised to stay - perhaps give them a chance to win back some of the lost wages instant promotion. We could sell five players plus the two useless, but expensive loans and raise £150M, reduce wages by £70M and have a half decent squad - albeit too small

Ideal scenario, in the case of us going down, is that we have a big summer clear-out and end up in a situation where we end up dipping into the academy more and bringing through some spurs lads. Its been the case before where PL academy players do well in that league, and IMO we really need some club-indoctrinated culture in the dressing room instead of an ensemble of players who won't have grown up supporting the club

If we did get relegated I wouldn't want to sell any of them.

Keep them and make them suffer a season in the championship with lower wages. They're under contract they can't leave without the club letting them.
