Keep this cunt in charge guaranteed relegation it really is that simple. What we need now is a redknapp/redknapp-esque signing. Fuck the tactics we need the players to enjoy playing and more confidence.

Get someone in who will convincingly lie to the players and tell them they're not as bad as the results show.

There's a 3 week break after the Forest game. Use that time on the training round and to rebuild their confidence and with players coming back from injury we can still survive.

Isn't the break for internationals? They'll all be gone except solanke

Time to roll the dice one last time... Get rid of Tudor ... He's done, quite what the fuck the train of thought was in bringing Someone in that
A/ never played or managed in England
And B/ struggles with the language
Is WAY beyond me, and v clearly points us in the direction of why we're in this mess..
Get someone in whos been there done it ect ect...our Ari would do... Can't see anyone else tbh that would fancy the job and/or is capable.

That might not even be a bad thing. The players get a week playing for their national teams that are more competent so they probably play better which can get their confidence up.

Then we have another week off after that they can have on the training ground motivating them some more.

From within these paragraphs are pertinent:

The demise of the club has been staggeringly quick. “It’s been a series of ridiculous appointments, short-termism, sacking managers to jolly along and desperately poor recruitment.
&
There has been a catalogue of errors to get the club to where it is now. There has been mistake after mistake, and one of the biggest was letting Niall Quinn go. They’ve signed seventy odd players over the last eight years and only made a profit on three of them. They have signed piles and piles of rubbish
&
It is a long road to recovery, and in the modern game there are no guarantees of a return to the Premier League. Leeds were relegated from the top division 14 years ago, and have still to get back, spending three seasons in the third tier. Sheffield Wednesday left the Premier in 1999 and have never been back. For them there have been four campaigns in tier three.
&

Sunderland have a roll call of shame for their demise; Ellis Short, Margaret Byrne, Lee Congerton and Roberto de Fanti. Owners, chief executives and directors of football who tore a club’s golden ticket to shreds. This was Sunderland’s chance and incompetency saw almost a third of a billion pounds spent to create the worst team in the club’s 130-year history. Three of those have gone and the fourth, Short, is eager to wipe his hands of the club. They leave only a mess. The top tier of the Stadium of Light will be shut next season. Sunderland are down and down to their diehards.

“I will renew our three season tickets because I would feel guilty if I didn’t,” adds Dave.

The guilt should not be his, or the club’s supporters
.

Tudor has got to go, not after the next disaster at Anfiled, right fucking now.

Someone please tell me where the 4 wins we will need to stay up are coming from, I just don’t see it, we are absolutely fucked unless we get rid of this clown.

I truly believe the shiny stadium and training ground have been toxic to our mentality. Sends the wrong message that we are a big club when we barely pay average prem player wages. This breeds complacency and entitlement without graft. This is what happens when you get property developers in to run a football club.

There are 20 teams in the Premier League. We have the 6th highest wage bill.

If the weekend goes against us, which is less the near inevitable loss to Liverpool but the outcome in the 3 key matches, then I'm not sure anyone can inspire the players.

Other outcomes and a change of manager (but who, and would anyone bet this board to get it right?) then I think we can stave off relegation, despite everything.

We will see.

The entire issue all boils down to poor squad building.

These are the senior experienced players (i.e. over 25). There are no leaders, and there are no players that love Tottenham. Losing Kane and Son has ripped the heart out of the locker room, and we now have players that openly call out the board and leadership. Not having a single Spurs academy graduate is an utter disgrace.

The only players that show some passion and drive are Vic, Richarlison and Porro.

Vic - sigh
Romero - Seems to have checked out and looking to the World Cup.
Madisson - injured
Davies - injured
Palhinha - No a Spurs player
Solanke
Bentencur - injured
Bissouma - Brain Dead
Danso
Richarlison
RKM - No a Spurs player
Gallagher - WTF has he walked into
Porro

The quality is there, as in good enough not to be anywhere near our current situation but you are right.

The love of the club and pride in performance and passing that on is nowhere to be seen.

It's for a manager and senior professionals in a club to provide all that direction, and that's in the form of how they play and not calling out the board but taking responsibility when it's not transporting on the pitch.

What we have right now is the absolute opposite.

It's absent.

Yeah something just got fundamentally broken in the football operation post-Poch and the squad building/football operation has been completely fucked ever since.

Feel like we've become this Frankenstein's monster of data-led signings, Paratici's rando Juve wheeler dealer buys, Lange's kids, Levy's pet projects with a bunch of opportunistic last minute gazumps to nick other team's signings just because. No coherent long-term footballing vision whatsoever.

Approach to managers has been just as haphazard and disjointed.

If you run a club this badly for this long eventually the shit hits the fan and that's where we are right now.
