If we did go down we have more than enough resources and club size to do what or greater than what wolves did in the 2016-17 season where they got Nuno in and signed a bunch of really great players in the championship like Ruben Neves and Jota.

They came up and immediately finished 7th and were in the Europa League the following season.

You just wouldn’t back ENIC to be able to come up with and sell that kind of project though. Even though we are more than capable to do even better than it.
We haven’t got the football nous in the current setup to bounce right back without major changes.

Coming to our stadium will be like a cup final for every Championship team.

Look how we’ve performed against lower opposition like Tamworth.

Again that is on the club. Make the tickets cheaper and you will get more variety. What we have done is built a space age stadium, charge high prices to watch garbage. Like going to the Ritz and paying £200 for egg and chips, if you charge more people have a higher expectation. I suspect the prices will stay much the same if we go down and not a lot will change. Even if it does change the fans are not the driver of the football results anyway.

We are a club with shambolic owners, weak minded players and a culture that sees losing as ok. That culture starts at the top.
With the exception of maybe Brighton ( huge owner loans) and Man City ( 115+) it’s actually difficult to think of any Championship or PL clubs that have had sustained improvement once they moved from their long term grounds to modern stet of the art grounds .
From Swansea and Cardiff in the west to Bolton, Sunderland, Hull and Wigan in the north to Leicester in the midlands and in the South Southampton. Pretty sure I have missed a couple but is their a a curse on clubs when they move to a new stadium

I completely agree with you, but any competent owner would be able to storm the championship with our resources. We should be able to do what Wolves and Fulham have done in recent years.

You just don’t back ENIC to do that though, they haven’t got it in them.

Brighton is not huge owner loans. It's the Chavs money laundering centre. How much did they rinse them for Cucerella and Caicedo, Pedro? They don't need loans from Tony.

Hard to find anythjg to cling onto but that's exactly what is needed

Long tine befire our next game and those hours need to be used wisely.

Stick or twist, and I favour twisting, nothing but nothing has been decided.

I said a long time back there is a twist or two to come. I still sense that.

What's undoing us is not that the players don't care. It's an easy line at such times.

Our issue is simply an issue of confidence and belief, and that we lack on-field leadership. With confidence high, you don't need leaders.
Well the thing to cling on to is

Despite having our worst form for 90 years..... We're STILL not even in the relegation places.

And

There's 7 games left to play - it will probably go down to the wire but until we're mathematically relegated then we have to believe in some kind of miracle.

There's a performance in there somewhere -there has to be.

I say this more in hope than with any logic or evidence that we can stay up.

But you have to keep believing till it's done one way or the other.

Never in history has this club's administration thought it needed more than a new manager, a few loan players, a few budget signings. This will not be different

I'm starting to think that as our players seem to be intimidated by our own stadium. when supporters lined the streets to try and give them an extra lift before they got off the coach, it has actually increased the intimidation for these saps.

Not only do they not deserve the support, they can't handle it, they can't feed off of it, they can't turn that positive energy into anything, they can't maintain focus, they keep making lapses.

They are a bunch of fannies.

I agree But think you are unfair to fannies

as much as it’s gonna hurt us playing in the , championship we will come back stronger . Might not be untill we have new owners , but we will come back. Hopefully We will have the dark cloud of the owners gone The PL hasn’t seen the last of us . We will be back
Are you joking, this is and will be a disaster.....have you actually watched the championship ?
It's tough and relentless and low on quality, some might say it will suit us. .....but we will be the team everyone wants to beat. It will be worse than this season

I strongly disagree.

I think we would keep certain players amd spend our way back into the PL. Genuinely.

One season would be like having a really bad virus, but one you could fight off with expensively acquired vaccines (the best players possible).

There can be nobody in the club sitting there thinking this is a goid thing. Nobody. Not even that fcuking CEO, who must know his days at the club are soon to end.

I am aware many will see it differently. So what.

I just think the keeper and our strikers are the problem. Not good enough. Richarlison hold up play yesterday was crap plus solanke movement atrocious. Was a part of play Tel had ball on left and Solanke moved straight to three of their defenders so completely marked. Easy day for murillo and mlenkovic yesterday.

There’s no way this club will be prepared for the championship. None at all. It will be a shitfest.

This just don’t feel like my Spurs anymore.

I don’t like the players, I don't recognise the people running the club and the stadium is a soulless thing that ain’t home.

Shocking.

Losing in the play-offs would be soooo Spurs.
IIRC we came joint 3rd and got promotion on goal difference the last time we'd slipped down a division.

Thing is there's going to be other ex Premier League teams down there. People think we can financially bully that league and get instant promotion, but we can't bully teams now that we are vastly richer than in the Premier League. Every team in that league will be trying extra hard to beat us.
