With respect:
Even Ornstein can’t be privy to the exact wording and relevant clauses of all our players personal contracts with the Club .
And in the unlikely scenario that he is ; he wouldn’t be allowed to tell anyone else about it / them .
There’d be consequences ( expensive ones ) if he did so .
I bet we figure out a way to get less
it’s more likely he is aware of the general standard way we do contracts under Levy. He is one of the few people in football who is rarely wrong.
Exactly. Just as ENIC have for years refused to compete on salaries and transfer fees in the Premier League, they'll just cut their cloth accordingly and refuse to compete in the Championship. The levy/enic/ange fanboy coalition never learn. Even now they think even if we get relegated we’ll be back in the PL after one season.
Doesn’t work like that. Spurs will adjust their transfer budget to that of a Championship side. Mass exodus of our established players and we wont be able to draw in any top players. Who’s gunna want to come to the Championship? Spurs aren’t going to pay over the odds on wages to entice players to join.
Itll be years before we come back up.
Well your savvy coach was shockingly shite today. It's far from over with six games left, we've got a savvy coach in charge now who I believe will get us winning games again
Stay positive folks
COYFS!!!!
I genuinely didn't and don't know much about him but, by most accounts, it was a bit of a coup to get him here and seemingly committed for five years.De Zerbi is a square peg round hole. I don't get why people are so excited and confident, given that we have very few players that can play his style of football.
White flag for me. Screams of writing off this season as a lost cause.

I do.
Our players are a higher quality than Forest, Spam, and Leeds. RDZ is a better manager than they have. At minimum, if we match Leeds' pace and beat them in a few weeks, they'll be below us.

Vicario, Porro, Romero, Udogie, Bissouma, Sarr, Solanke, Richarlison, Kolo Muani...not one braincell between them. There was a moment first half he charged up the pitch and then ambled back not even getting into position.
I think we’ll be better without him in the team. He does nothing but fucks with the structure of the team. I also think he is one of the most stupid players I’ve ever seen on a pitch.
The main thing that will affect the value is that other clubs know our players are a bit shit .The value of most players drops drastically after relegation. The other clubs all know you need to sell !!
Higher quality, yet they can win games and we can't. Apart from delusion, what basis do you back this on?
You don't honestly believe De Zerbi stays when we get relegated do you?I genuinely didn't and don't know much about him but, by most accounts, it was a bit of a coup to get him here and seemingly committed for five years.
I like that he's a permanent appointment. I like what he's been saying.
The only criticism I have is not starting Tel today, who I think has been one of the only players putting in any effort. My thinking is he'll rectify that next weekend and we'll get better match by match.
Whether that will be enough remains to be seen.
