There seems to be folks thinking reegation will be the great reset needed, but does anyone thinkthese pwners or this board know what they are doing football wise
these players will not get us out of the championship, so we need a to get men whowill fight to get us back to EPL, then we need to buy players who will move us up the EPL and not be in the bottom end or worst a yoyo club
Do you really think ENIC will pay out that sort of money ?, they didn't spend £100m in Jan to help keep us up,

I want Spurs to be in the Premier League because big clubs are in the PL.

But I genuinely detest everything about the PL and have done for many years. Maybe I'm being paranoid but I well remember the media hatred of Spurs in the Leicester title winning season and this season is no different.

The main stream media want us to be relegated because it is the bigger story. Listen to the commentary and look at the refereeing decisions that are going against us.

Obviously there is huge element of being the architects if our own downfall with our ridiculous transfer policy and managerial appointments but that is not the whole story.

I accepted relegation after the Forest game for my own mental well-being and, if we come straight back up, a season in the Championship would probably be good fun for the fans. The problems start in earnest if we dont bounce straight back.

I dont trust ENIC whatsoever to make the decisions for that to happen.

Your understanding of football is so basic that I think you got into football five minutes ago. It doesn't matter if they are higher quality if they are piss poor as a team, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. And right now all those clubs have a better 'team' than we do.
Also not sure it's true we have better players - in a best combined first 11 I'd pick more Forest players than Spurs and, while West Ham have a lot of shit in their squad, Bowen alone is easily better than any of our forwards and the type of talisman player we've been oh so sorely missing.

We're going to "not panic" all the way to the Conference with Lange and Vinai at the helm

Nothing changed yesterday. Different manager same lacklustre performance from the players. Maybe we should have got a pen and yes their goal was lucky, those 2 incidents didn't define the game though, we were shite.
Sat at home to Brighton is massive, will the players eventually turn up?
I doubt it.

Lincoln away, olè olè

That was out of hubris not pennypinching. They thought they were being smart by not spending in the Jan market and keeping their powder dry until the summer.

ENIC would absolutely need us to bounce straight back up - it would cost them a LOT more in the long run if they went bare bones and didn't invest.

I think there's certainly a chance we spend poorly as our football operation is a joke, but it makes no sense not to reinvest. Most teams that go down simply can't afford to so we'll be quite a rare example of a relegated team that still can get away with investing in the squad.

⚠️🎙️ José Mourinho on Tottenham’s possible relegation:

“What do you expect from Tottenham? They sack managers who reach finals and even fired the one who actually won a European trophy. They’ve never had the mentality of a big club – just serial losers in winners’ clothing.

You can’t keep chopping coaches and magically find stability. Sack a guy days before the biggest game of your history, then act surprised when the next one fails? At some point it’s not the managers… it’s the toxic culture and clueless decisions at the top.

Talent means nothing without backbone. Tottenham have neither.”

I wish the consensus of opinion WASN'T that it's the end of the world as we know it...
Sky and the filthy amounts of money up for grabs that have cornered us into this "PL or you're nothing" mentality.

....is it SO BAD that I'm actually refusing to let the idea of relegation break me ...
.yes it's gonna hurt like hell.... It really is...

But, in this day and age, when everyone is bemoaning that fings ain't what they used to be... And harking back to the past, well, What's more nostalgic than a trip back to the fun-filled, rebel-fuelled carefree days of the late '70s??

BRING IT ON YOU ABSOLUTE FUCKS!
1977 here we come again, and we're gonna FUCKING ENJOY OURSELVES!

WE WILL RETURN!

Here to inject some optimism.

Chelsea falling off means Villa could have CL secured by the time they play us.

Our game is in the middle of the Europa League semi-final legs.

Unless I'm missing something, surely Emery will play the reserves vs us?

We could win there.

I don't remember sacking Poch before the CL final 🤔

I don't think we'll get relegated. There is too much talent in the squad.
Two wins might be enough and 3 wins definitely will be.
I didn't get to watch the latest game and by all accounts we were not very good.
But we did have 11 shots on goal with 7 on target. That is a vast improvement on previous games.

cant disagree there

I genuinely thought we would see a reaction yesterday. Silly of me, Spurs will always kick you in the nuts.

I was hopeful but not expectant.

We just don't possess anything that causes fear to the opposition and we are understandably brittle. How a club spend so much and not have a game-changer or 3 I just don't know.

It's not even that we are up against great teams in the slightest, which arguably makes it worse.

Can only hope Leeds lose tonight and go from there.

The issue is that we haven't won a league game in 106 days.

And whilst you cite 11 shots and 7 on target, we were pathetic in the final third. Partly down to our forwards being out of form and low in confidence but mainly down to the fact we have no senior wingers other than Tel, a player who is not PL level (yet) so are forced to play two strikers in those positions.

We have no creativity.
