I get why people are annoyed, I am as well. That late winner was a proper kick in the teeth. But that one result isn’t the nail in the coffin it’s being made out to be.

A few minutes of being above them then dropping back again doesn’t suddenly erase the fact we kept pace and stayed right on their heels.

If anything, the key takeaway is simple: we’re still in it, and we’ve stopped the rot. That matters a hell of a lot more than people are giving it credit for.
Thing is we have get ahead of them so any chance has to be taken ,we are running out of chances,we will see next match if our win yesterday has changed anything,I doubt we will beat Villa am just hoping to be wrong of course .

West Ham play before us in the next 3 matchdays, Christ.

This season it seems like everything that can go against us, is going against us.

Watching the highlights of our match I thought our players were slow to pile on Paulinho after his goal. Maybe they learned the mistake of over-celebrating like last week, or just maybe they don’t care as much as they should?..

I'm not confident but we did get a point away at Anfield recently.

Villa, after playing Forest on Thursday, in a semi final, should be a similar task.

The one thing about yesterday was how we started the game.

Spurs looked focussed for the first 10-15 minutes and kept Wolves in their own half.

We also looked a bit sharper and fitter.

De Zerbi's methods are improving us but, as we know, polishing a turd has it's limits.

Spurs need a bit of luck and a referee who is watching the game.

I thought JP was going to tear several groin muscles hurdling that advertising hoarding yesterday. .

Maybe a case of “ discretion being the better part of valour “ for his jubilant teammates.

Our medical team already have a waiting-list that would put a NHS Hospital to shame tbf.

Villa away - defeat

Leeds at home - draw

Chelsea away - defeat

Everton at home - draw

Bye bye Premier League.
It’s going to be done the worst way possible aswell isn’t it, away to Chelsea. It’s going to be brutal to us .
I’m trying to optimistic that we could have a good summer next year by getting promoted via the play offs. This summer is going to be horrendous . I’ve mentally programmed myself to expect it.
On top of it all to ruin my summer , I went to put clippers on my hair and misjudged the fucking grade and had to shave alll my hair off. My head is round and looks like a fucking golf ball .
Also just had some arsehole neighbours moved in one house up, gonna get no peace in my garden all summer.
Fuck it. Fuck it all

Yeah I think yesterday was probably our last win of the season.

I see nothing from this team to suggest we can win against any of the last 4, plus the injuries just won't end (thanks Lange).

You seem to have stepped off the Train of Hope by mistake and found yourself in the hick town of Nohopeville Missouri .

Just get yourself to a bar .

There’ll be another express train to Survival City along in a few hours.

You’re right on one thing, we are running out of games, no point pretending otherwise.

It’s game by game now, and more importantly it’s relative to what West Ham do as much as us.
If we lose to Aston Villa but they go and lose away at Brentford, nothing’s changed. If Brentford do us a favour and we nick a draw or better, that’s a swing in our favour. If we both lose, it’s just as you were.

Worth noting as well, the next two ganes they play before us, so we’ll already know the lay of the land. That takes the guesswork out of it. We’ll know exactly whether we’re matching, chasing, or have a chance to close the gap before we even kick off. Then the last two are played at the same time

The real pivot point is a bit further down the line. When they’ve got Woolwich and we’re at home to Leeds United, that’s where you expect the gap to shift if it’s going to at all.

So yeah, chances are running out, but it’s not about one result in isolation. It’s about taking whatever’s there each week and hoping the pressure tells on them as much as it does on us.

The positive is, they are improving but it seems too little too late.
It does bode well for next season though, should storm the championship with a healthy gap at the top.

Ever thought of taking up a short-term position as a Psychologist.

There’s a job going apparently.

We can sort out your qualifications later .

😂

I would, but I doubt they’d pay enough to deal with the monumental issues at our club. That’s not a job, that’s a lifelong case study in sporting psychology.

Reckon they’d need to hire a psychologist for the psychologist just to cope with it.
