Think too many people are downplaying our win.

It's a huge confidence booster and we could have won by more. Team is heading in the right direction. Just because Wolves are bottom doesn't mean we have to outplay them and hit them for six. Ask Woolwich, Villa and Liverpool how they got on at Molineux in recent weeks.

We now have a glimmer of hope.
Yeah teams have really struggled with Wolves when they've sat deep at home. Apparently against West Ham and Leeds they decided to actually try and play (thank guys) and got picked off. They had much more of the ball in the away games where they got battered than they did against us, Liverpool and Villa.

Their front line is abysmal but they've got some decent defensive midfielders and are decent at sitting in and making life difficult, which we saw on the weekend.

Look at the calls we’ve not gotten, the ones other teams have lucked out on and the ridiculous injuries we’ve had, and you can only conclude that the stars are just simply lined up against us. We must have made some bargain with Beelzebub to win the Europa.

If we do get out of this, it’ll be an absolute miracle.

Tel, Muani (strewth), Richarlison and Solanke, if he isn't out as well need to find something in the remaining games.

It might now talk of a back 5 , in which case we play wing backs and pack the midfield with solidity but lacking creativity

If Maddison's issue is as much mental as physical maybe he can also add something.

Much as the stars are seemingly aligning the big game next weekend is Brentford West Ham.

The injury to Xavi only goes to further the problems Spurs face getting these players to give everything they have in the final games.

This is the one and only chance Spence will have to go to a World Cup. He’s isn’t risking fuck all. Same may be true for Solanke, Bentencur, Ven, Udogie et al.

Xavi played his heart out and paid the price. He misses the World Cup and an entire year of his career.

Yeah we all know our players are playing below par and inconsistent including Xavi but you saying he is no loss is nonsense because his competition is even worse and not up to par.

In this context he is a great loss because he's the only one capable of creating chances and some sort of magic for a team who fail to create chances and score goals, how do you not see this?

He got MOTM last week against Brighton, didn't hear a peep from you, why is that?
I was too dejected that we failed to win again. Two performances in the league all season, that one and Brentford at home - £60m, do me a favour

Xavi of course missed an absolute sitter in the first half of that game also

No great loss, not a bit of it

We absolutely need West Ham to lose to Brentford. If they beat them, we are down.

Unfortunately it's a very winnable game for them.
West Ham have won away to Brentford once in their entire history and that was back in the 50’s. They’re convinced they are just going to rock up there and win on Saturday though.

Maybe Brentford are in bad form - nope, unbeaten in 6.

West Ham might win there and if they do then that’s us done in my opinion. But I think a draw is vastly more likely meaning we would go into the Villa game with a chance of climbing out of the bottom 3.
