Tottenham owns the stadium through a subsidiary, so ENIC couldn’t simply extract it — they’d effectively have to buy it from Tottenham Hotspur Ltd. Even then, it would be a completely illogical move. A football stadium without a guaranteed tenant quickly becomes a white elephant.
Take West Ham as a contrasting example. Because they don’t own their stadium, their value is far more fragile — particularly if they were to be relegated, and even more so given the ongoing investment in their training ground.
The broader issue is that the current football ownership and financial model is fundamentally broken.

The point was that we have the two shitest owners in the league, and that's hardly up for debate. Taking a loan to build a stadium doesn't make them good owners. The stadium wasn't built for us, it was built to line their pockets.
Who owns the subsidiary though? ENIC?
I agree it would be a completely illogic move, but I can't see any reason why, subject to the legal formalities, the ownership couldn't be split. Even if there are minority shareholders there, they may well be able to squeeze or drag them. It would be hugely value destructive, as you imply.
It cant that is not how levels of subsidaries work especially as Enic are registered in Bahamas. You cannot just transfer assets between different entities in an organisation you would transfer it to another part of the Tavistock group and leave the debt on Spurs when you sell the club.
I want as many points between us and Spam come the Chelsea match. Staying up is far more important than Woolwich not winning the league.
I would much rather go into the Chelsea match with a 4 point advantage (realistically 5 with GD) than a 3 (4 with GD) point advantage because it means anything other than a Spam win at Saudicastle results in them going down.

Unfortunately I think Forest are out of it as their form is just too good in the league. How much MGW can play must affect them looking at last night, even though I expected Villa to beat them. With the severity of that head injury he probably shouldn’t be playing at all, but you know football.
Who would have thought Newcastle would have such a deciding hand in things. Funny how the fixtures always fall though with one team playing the same relegation candidates. Always happens to one team.
Could be one more team for us to put between us and 18th though.

They should probably shut Gibbs White down for at least the next 2 games then assess things. If he did get another clash of heads he could be in a very serious condition. It would be irresponsible to play him.

I'm gonna need a West Ham pummeling, 4-0. 5-0 or whatever - can't have this lot get any sort of confidence going into their last 2 fixtures, not even a goal - I need them dead and buried by the time we play Chelsea...couldn't give a toss about Woolwich winning the league, even if they draw they're still likely to win the league anyway.
