We want Newcastle to lose. It changes so much about what we need to do.
ok, no pen then
I think he gets the ball first, but the touch is so slight that Madders still has control over the ball and is then fouled.I'm not wearing my glasses. I don't suppose he gets Madz leg before touching the ball?
This comes down to the Newcastle match as has been stated before. With a West Ham loss we effectively need only 1 point from 2 matches, as their max total would be 39. That could see us full of confidence and playing without pressure to win, which is exactly what this squad needs.
However, with a draw or, far worse, a win, the pressure is back on us to get a result at Chelsea and means we essentially need a win in the last 2 matches to guarantee safety.
Having to break down a Moyes led side at home with the crowd knowing we need a goal sounds like hell on earth. The pressure will crumble our already fragile players.
Its up to Howe to do us a favour imo.

They’d rather win the cup. Remember it’s a group of fans used to winning trophies.
Are you a bi?This is going to sound bad, and I should start by saying how much I love Spurs and want to win so bad. But also, I kind of want to be relegated.
Nothing to do with the club. More my love of the sport. I hate the Premier League. The refs, the media, the inconsistency in calls. I won’t say corruption but it feels like it.
I get more joy watching teams in the EFL, Scotland, Bundesliga than I do in the Prem. But I love Spurs too much to ever stop.
Relegation might bring the real joy back. But I also want to stay up, bring in top players and let De Zerbi take us back to the top.
It’s a conflicting time for feelings.
Very far from it. Just a PL hater.

I felt exactly like this about 3 weeks ago. The prem is dreadful now, its the VAR show and football is a bit of a sideshow. The commentators last night were constantly on about Var, Var looking at this and that. Its so boring. The championship even now, feels like a proper throwback. Its more competitive, you dont know which 2 sides will be challenging every season its just more fun, better to watch with less hype. We're also more likely to see the likes of Moore, Lankshear etc. But must admit the relegation fight has got me really invested again, probably more so than anything since the CL final and i dont want to see us fuck up, especially to West Ham of all teams. This is going to sound bad, and I should start by saying how much I love Spurs and want to win so bad. He is a spammer.
That’s the thing. It’s a mix of wanting Spurs to be back in the CL and competing at the top but also wanting to get out of the Prem.I understand that,
the blatant corruption has been off the chart this season. Probably sounds like sour grapes but I can't think of any other logical explanation. Incompetence only goes so far, doesn't explain the systematic cheating I've witnessed this season for us and others, compared to the red carpet that's been rolled out to a couple other teams .
Would hate for spurs to be relegated, but can't lie that a life without watching English football for a bit, especially premier League sounds glorious .
It's a really unpleasant watch 9 times out of 10.
This was my first season really investing in the Championship. Games have been a joy to watch. Reminds me of the Prem in 2015-2019 time.I felt exactly like this about 3 weeks ago.
