Brazil international Joelinton, who lined up in Gordon's left-sided attacking berth at Nottingham Forest last weekend, is nursing a thigh problem.

Hopefully makes it, but whilst I think Gordon, as a possible, option might be mindful of injury, with the Workd Cup also on the horizon I think he would want to remind Tuchel of his ability.

Or not get injured before leaving? Teams that have nothing to play for could be good for us.

Yes. Form is temporary, farce is permanent.

Looking at the run-in, there is a chance the chavs bin off the FA cup to focus on Europe. Given that Bournemouth play city on Tuesday, they could take it to the last game. Of course, other teams also have to lose (brighton and brentford).

Will be watching their team for Saturday with interest. Surely the FA cup is far more achievable than the Europa league?

I suspect euro-money will decide this. Fingers-crossed, though.

The filth aren't binning off the FA Cup for anything.

It is however fair to say that any PL team entering the Europa will strongly fancy their chances of then gaining entry into the CL the following season.

But no binning for the filth. They might just lose regardless, because they haven't been great, although I suspect they will be strongly competitive manana. Hopefully to the point of physically exhausted.
