Player Richarlison

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Our best forward today, missed his first chance and didn't let it phase him. Just continued playing his football and took the next chance and got another goal.

Missed his first and second easy chances when the game was still in the balance (pressure). Then got gifted a tap in on a platter due to countering a team pushing hard (when the game was already won). Let's not go too wild at his performance.

Strikers miss chances all the time. Those tap ins are the majority of the goals he will score for us.

He did a good job holding the ball and linking play as well.

I was furious when he didn’t even hit the target with the chance Sonny put for him on a plate but he sealed the win with his goal - so all’s well that ends well. Hard to argue with 5 in 5.

Pressing like a demon and finishing cut back crosses, this is what Ange wants in a CF. I’m sure he’s thrilled with Richy’s form since he returned. Kyogo, his CF at Celtic, led the league in goals while being last in the league in average touches per 90, similar to what Richarlison is doing currently.

That miss was absolutely horrific though, very glad he was able to redeem himself and it didn’t cost us.

We are going to need Richarlison to maintain his goal scoring form especially whilst Son is away on international duty - he's mainly a player who scores goals (albeit good at pressing etc), so hopefully Maddison is back shortly to help create goal scoring opportunities for him.

hell maintain it if he gets good crosses to feed off. one on one you dont really fancy him too much, but as soon as you can see a good cross heading to him you feel a goal could be coming.

for burnley id stick gil left and johnson right so hes got traditional wingers either side, hell thrive off that service. veliz being injured means he has to play. rest kulu for united.

Goals per 90 mins;

2.05 Veliz
0.64 Richarlison
0.63 Son
0.39 Lo Celso
0.30 Maddison
0.27 Kulusevski

Didn't expect Rich to be top for goals per game (as Veliz doesn't really count).
Fair play. Could end up with a 15+ tally for the season which would be exceptional.
