It just goes to how you never really know what’s going on with a player. I’ve been guilty of it in the past but when you don’t have full information then maybe we shouldn’t have been so quick to criticise. Hard to remember though. He’s a good lad and great to see him scoring again. Promise I won’t put him in my fantasy team!

I think one of the things that’s suited him, is last season, he was being coached in a formation that required a lot of discipline whereas I think he’s one of these players you just have to let loose. I think in the striker role for Ange’s team you just need to get about and get stuck in which he clearly likes to do.
I don’t think he’ll ever get to the highs of Kane, and he’s obviously going through a purple patch, but if he can keep up the consistency and turn in to a low 20 goal a season striker, than he could become a really big part of this team. Onus will then be on the wide players to chip in with some goals

Key thing in an Ange team fir a striker - is always get into goal scoring positions as other players role is to get the ball to him to score
Very different role to Kane who shared duties of both goal scorer and goal creator

Like many here, I’m starting to realise that Richy is a class act. We know his work rate and attitude are excellent but those two goals against Everton were top class and a clear indication that this guy can play.
A few more goals, a settling in now he’s getting the starts and this boy could well become a real crowd favourite.
